Disclaimer: Hey, do you own Alias? Me neither! Wanna be friends?

"No, this isn't happening. I've done this once before and this is all a dream. She didn't lose contact in Cambodia and they know exactly where she is. No, she didn't even go to Cambodia. She's still here. And she's going to be heading out on some remedial mission with no danger or risk at all. In fact, we'll be going out together, just to be on the safe side, so that I can watch her back and make damn sure she's alright. That's just how it is. I love her, you know? So, I keep her safe. Even when she seems like she's in harm's way, I keep her safe. Maybe not always happy, but definitely safe. That's why she's at home. Reading or watching TV and probably making popcorn, and putting on her own caramel, she's weird about that. She only likes this one special brand and only so much can be drizzled on the popcorn or it's all ruined, so only she does it. And she's probably watching some really old movie, where the hero always dashes in at the last second and saves his damsel. They're so clichéd, but she loves them. She said to me once, 'They wouldn't be clichés if people didn't like them enough to watch them again and again.' I told her that was some crazy logic, but I sort of saw what she was getting at. So, she's watching one of those right now, with her popcorn. And she's not in Cambodia. And she's not in danger, and above all of that, Weiss, She. Is. Not. Lost."

"I know that sounds very pleasing right now, but Vaughn, they need you back there to help find her and get her back."

"NO!"

"They need your help."

"NO! Listen to me! She can't be gone! God gave her back, Weiss. She was dead. Gone. And I was never going to see her again. And God gave her back! It would be too sick and cruel for her to be gone again! So, she's not gone. And she's not lost. And she is still right here!!!"

"I know. I know. We'll get her back. It'll all be alright."

"It has to be, damn it! It has to be alright."

"Agent Vaughn, Agent Weiss?"

"Yes?"

"We've found Sydney,"

"Where is she? Is she al-"

"I'm sorry, sir. She's been killed."

It felt like there was no oxygen in his lungs.

"Michael? Michael?!"

He was breathing heavily and he was coated in sweat.

"Shhh...it was just a nightmare."

"Lauren?"

"Yes, I'm here. Don't worry."

"Lauren..."

"Michael, I know you've been going through some difficult times going back to CIA, but this is the third time this week. Maybe you should see someone, about this sort of thing."

"See someone?"

"I'm just worried, Michael. What could possibly have you this frightened?"
