Author's Notes:

Okay. Omg. I know, I know, it's been April 2014 when I chucked up the first initial prologue. It's been 5 years, and erm. I honestly have no excuses. But I thought to give a shot at this again, because in the midst of procrastination, I found the old files, did a bit of reading and cringed. And for some reason, lots of inspiration and possible scenes popped in my head. So I written a few extra things up (and rewritten the prologue)...so voila. If anyone wants to see what the old prologue was like, I'm more than happy to put it up somewhere! :)

The title of this story was 'Tomber en Amour' (My French is crappy as, but I have renamed it to 'You').

Here's the Old Summary: Countless times, Haruno Sakura experienced different kinds of love. Puppy love. Infatuation. First love. All the way to her last love. But who is it that is the one that will wait for her at the end of the aisle?

New summary: Puppy Love. Infatuation. This word called 'love'. It resembles you. For Sakura, it may have manifested in several forms, with a tad too much drama for her liking.

Warning: AU (into the modern world), OOCness? (I'm not the best writer and English isn't my first language, and I'll apologise in advance if you guys spot any typos, spelling errors etc) and SakuraxMulti. Oh, rated for language (mostly swearing).

Disclaimer: I don't owe Naruto and any of the lovely characters. They rightfully belong to Kishimoto Masashi :)

Enjoy! :D

You

Prologue

It's funny how this idea of 'love' has been twisted and shaped around, as you get older.

When you're a child, it's so ridiculously easy to believe in the idealistic world set by fairy tales. But, honestly, who could blame your innocent and pure mindset of the world?

It's lovely to be hopeful, to find that Prince Charming who can whisk you away romantically, far from the clutches of despair and what is deemed to be 'evil'.

And Sakura…learnt that this world isn't divided into 'black' and 'white', 'evil' and 'good', as easy as it is to separate them.

She was eight years, when it first began. A silly, silly, childish and hopeless crush.

Puppy Love.

She was in her teens, when she met someone that made her heart beat ridiculously fast.

Infatuation.

She used to adore the idea of a 'soulmate', but as an adult, she scoffs at the idea that there is someone built perfectly to match you. But, a part of that remains from that innocent child's mindset, that someone would be there to care, to hold her when she's upset, to wipe her tears as she cries, to smile and be silly dorks to the rest of the world.

At the age of twenty-eight, she walked down the aisle. White dress, radiant smile, hair elegantly styled, and eyes focused on that figure at the end.

"I do."

Emerald eyes widened with excitement as the young pink haired girl tugged on her mother's shirt. "Mummy," she nearly whispered, her eyes dancing. "How did you and Daddy fall in love?"

Her mother smiled, eyes twinkling as she noticed the title, 'Fairy Tales' book which was hugged tightly to her daughter's chest. "Sakura honey," she paused, her mind drifting to memories far in the past but close to her heart, "It's a long story."

"I have time," Sakura pleaded, "Please mummy, please. Daddy is your Prince Charming, right? And you're Cinderella, right?"

Her mother chuckled. "In a way yes." She smoothed her daughter's short pink hair, "Someday, you'll find your Prince Charming, Sakura."

Sakura pouted. This was not the answer she was expecting.

"Listen Sakura. You'll know when you're in love…when it feels…right."

"…So…I'm in love with ice-cream?"

Author's Notes:

Tbh...I forgot how Fanfiction worked...I was struggling so much to find how to insert the horizontal line hahaha.

Also, for the cover image, it doesn't mean that Sakura and Naruto will necessarily end up together! I was looking for an image of Sakura in a wedding dress, and I found this artwork absolutely beautiful. I don't know who the original artist is, but credits goes to him/her!

Thank you for reading this, and I shall be posting Chapter 1 very soon!

I hoped you enjoy and have a fabulous day or night - and please don't procrastinate too much like me...oops.
