The Adventures of Sherlock and Doctor Who
Chapter 1
Disclaimer: I do not own Doctor Who or Sherlock.
Lestrade, Sherlock and John walked into Lestrade's office, discussing the attempt to blow up parliament and how it was stopped.
"How did you even know how to stop the bomb, Sherlock?" asked Lestrade.
"He just looked and felt around the bomb and discovered the switch," replied John.
"It was simple, there had to be an off switch in case of an emergency and in this case, helped us stop an explosion which would have killed many people," said Sherlock.
"You really are brilliant, you know, Sherlock... Sherlock?" said John.
Sherlock had placed his hands beneath his chin, which meant he was thinking about something important.
"Hmmm? Oh, I wanted to ask, how are you and Mary doing?"
"Great, great... Thanks for asking..."
"WHOOOSHHHWHOOOSHHHWHOOOSHHHWHOOOSHHH"
Everyone immediately looked around the office, trying to locate the noise.
"What's that noise?" asked Lestrade.
"It sounds like wheezing and groaning," said John.
"It's coming from over there..." said Sherlock, walking out of the office towards the source of the noise and what he saw there, was impossible. There was a blue box standing in front of him.
"It's a police call box... from the around the 1950s and it was standing in front of him... in the Yard," thought Sherlock, trying to deduce this situation,"what was it doing here? Maybe it was some sort of magic trick or something... or maybe it was-"
His thoughts were interrupted when a young man stepped out of the box. He was tall and thin, sort of like a giraffe and he was wearing a bizarre outfit, a tweed jacket and pants, suspenders and a bowtie and boots.
"Hello," said the man, smiling,"I'm the Doctor, who are you?"
Sherlock tried to deduce the man but couldn't get anything, so, annoyed, he asked, "Doctor who?"
"Just the Doctor," he replied,"and who are you?"
"Sherlock Holmes, the worlds only consulting detective."
The Doctors eyes went wide in disbelief, "The Sherlock Holmes? Where's John? And where's the hat?"
"I'm right here," said John, who had just walked out of the office.
"I don't wear the hat," said Sherlock, slightly annoyed.
"What the hell is that?" John nearly shouted, after noticing the blue box.
"Oh, that... right. I'll tell you but promise not to tell anyone else what you see," said the Doctor.
Lestrade walked out of the office and asked, "What's going on here? And what's that?" after noticing the man and the box.
The Doctor couldn't believe his eyes... it was Riddell, but how had he gotten here? He'd better ask him.
"RIDDELL!" shouted the Doctor, striding over and hugging Lestrade.
Lestrade, shocked and confused, wondering who Riddell was roughly pushed the strange man away and asked, "Who are you? And who's Riddell?"
The Doctor, confused, realised that he must have been one of Riddell's future relatives and apologised, saying, "I'm sorry, you just look like a friend of mine... maybe he's one of your family members... a grandfather, maybe a great-grandfather?"
