"Hey, Todd"
"Huh? Charlie? Wha-what's up?"
"I'm gonna take a walk before the dinner. Wanna come with me?"
"Uh… Isn't it too cold out there? I mean, you ju-just recovered from the flu."
"Yeah... Well, whatever. It will be better off for me to walk around than be stuck in my room with Cameron."
"Well…Actually, I-I have che-chemistry homework to do… H-How about asking someone else?"
"Neil went out for his practice, Knox went home to attend his grandma's funeral, Meeks and Pitts are disappeared an hour ago and did not return yet.
Cameron, you know I'm here to escape from him.
And, mind you, there is no chemistry homework for next class. Come on, it's just a 10 minute-walk. We won't go too far."
"... O-okay."
"Don't sigh! It's gonna be just fine. You were dawdling when I entered this room."
"F-fine. Then I will take out my coat."
"Good, I will get my one in my room. Then we are out."
"Todd"
"…"
"Todd?"
"… What? What? Sorry, Charlie."
"Nah, that's okay. What were you thinking?"
"No-Nothing"
"You are lying"
"No.. I'm not."
"Yes you are. When you try to hide something from others, you always start to chew your nails. And that's what
you are exactly doing now."
"What? No, I- …"
"Watch your hands."
"... "
"See? So what's your problem?"
"Well…"
"No, No let me guess. You were thinking about… hm.. today's dinner menu! Right?"
"…Sha-shame one you Dalton."
"Sorry, then…... Cameron's new pimple on his nose?"
"…Charlie!"
"Juuust kidding. Well, I give up. What on earth were you thinking? Have any problem with Neil?"
"...D-Do you seriously think so? I- I mean, can't yo-you guess what I am thinking now?"
"Yeah… . I have no idea."
"…."
"Come on, I am not a psychic, I can't read your mind."
"…"
"…"
"… N-never mind. It's nothing. Sorry for yelling...
it's getting cold. You might ca-catch the flu again. Let's go back."
"Well, if you wish so. But seriously Todd, you should tell me!"
"..."
And there was no more conversation till they arrived at the dinner table.
