The sun is a blinding light.

That's a simply fact.

The sun is also a healer . . . to many.

A healer to the living.

Unfortunately I am not one of the living, I only walk among them.

I'm watching them, the living, at the moment on the side of the mountain which is covered in a white blanket of soft snow. It coming up five am and many are beginning to wake to get ready for work, Oh good old Mondays. Many humans thoughts are thinking about Monday right now. 'Argh it's Monday again' and 'Here we go, another Monday'

I'm trying to force they thoughts out of my head while I sit here watching the sun rise. I love watching the sun rise. How the sky turns into a swirl pool of reds and oranges while the sun rays spread between them.

I'm so childish but it's one of my memories with my mother. She always woke me up as the sun rose so I could sit on her knee and watch with he ,while she comb my hair into place. Once she did I always scoffed it up, she just laughed at me.

If anyone came pass me now, I'd look like a grinning idiot. I loved my mother . . . I love my mother. That wipes the smile off my face, Remembering that my mother is dead and now longer around.

I do miss her.

Yes, I'm one hundred and eleven years old but a boy still loves his mother . . . forever.

"Edward, why so sad?" Ah! Alice my little sister for the last eighty years or so.

"Just thinking" I say, I don't need to raise my voices, one of the many benefits of this life.

"Then stop, I prefer you smiling" She thinks. As she does she jumps from the ledge above me to sit next to me against the mountain. "and if you tell anyone that I thought that you dead meat, Edward" she says in a threatening voice. "Not a word". I simply laugh and nod my head, I know what the females are like in this family. I swear Carlisle chose . . . helped the most loud, judgement, mean well at times for Alice but all the time for Rosalie, women once they get angry. I never try and get on the wrong side of the women in my household. Although Rose is always in a bad mood with me, I have no idea what I've done wrong to her but she just hates me.

"What you doing out here?" I ask, turning my head back towards the sky. She shows me why, a vision of her husband, Jasper and Emmett playing a video game. Jasper is clearly winning and Emmett is being himself, a sore loser.

"Ah, So you came to your dull, miserable brother out in the forest" I said sarcastically towards my sister. "Ha you wish" She replies "I came to see the sun rise" She smiles up at the sky.

We sit in silence while we watch the sky turn from it swirls to a perfect blue sky. " Any day inside, Shopping! ". I laugh at that. "Hey, who gave you permission to read my thoughts". That just makes me laugh more. Like I can make it stop I think mockingly.

"I've got some in information for you which might wipe that smile off your face" She says, then she thinks it.

"Oh no, no, no I haven't got over the last time yet" I said to her.

"Well suck it up Eddie, our cousins are coming this afternoon end of" She says in a serious voice " Although they bringing a new member as well, like to hear about this" She says "Come on, time to go" She says. I look one last time up at the sky then follow Alice home.
