Endless excruciating pain seared through Klaus' flesh as his body started to transform again, the bones on his right arm disjointed in a way that had his whole being screaming in agony. He lurched forward, planted both of his fists into the soft dirt—not yet dry from a light rain the previous night. It was too late to remove his shirt and pants from his person as he arched his back, face upturned towards the moon, the fur was already appearing.

Dark golden hairs became bushier and covered the entire length of his arm. He lurched again forward as his body adjusted to being on four legs. The claws on his front paws clawed deeply into the dirt. Transformation was complete. He was hybrid now.

Stepping into his new body, the difference of actually knowing it is yours as opposed to someone else's is extraordinary. Klaus gave a toothy grin as he sped his way through the forest. He had some things to try out.

It felt good to be this powerful, Klaus thought as he ripped a random citizen's head off with his canine strength jaw. He didn't realize how hungry he was until he lapped up the man's blood with his tongue. Licking his mouth and nose with his long whip like tongue, he went to find another victim to feast his hybrid urges.

As he was walking through someone's backyard, he heard singing come from an upstairs window. The distinctly female voice was humming to herself and singing something he'd never heard before. Klaus sat down in the grass and listened for a while. It was soothing to his ears as it sent gooseflesh under his fur. He let out a howl without warning.

Hiding himself behind a bush, he found himself staring back up at the window to see a beautiful blonde girl stick her head out the window. Obviously she heard him howl and startled her, how could Klaus be so stupid. Transfixing himself with such a young girl, she was barely old enough to be out of high school, and, he sniffed the air, wrinkling his nose, wait a minute.

Within another minute or two, the girl left the window and continued her singing. Klaus let out a sigh and continued on his way past the house. He didn't need to do this now.

Confusion and disgust lay heavily on his heart.
