A/N: I am so sorry it's taking so long to get the next chapter of Sub-Zero up. I have gotten really into writing a piece of original fiction, and have had time to write only one story recently. Never fear, it will be up eventually (within the next two months), I'm not even putting it on hold. I wrote this little poem to make up.

The Impossible Double Lie

Life and death,

Heartbeat and breath,

Maggots and worms.

Altogether,

Now together;

Watch how he squirms.

Sanctity is broken,

A simple little token

From the Powers That Be.

Watch all his battles,

Watch how he straddles

Complication and simplicity.

Life's a lie,

So is to die.

So ask, what is he?

He's a double falsehood,

Yet he's still good -

Where does that put me?

He is a polar opposite;

A flutter and a flit,

A shadow no one knows is real.

Who and what he is

Is as subtle as a moment's kiss -

He is the god of goodness' zeal.

Sanctimonious

Yet all the same harmonious.

Young and fast, dead and strong,

He is impossibility,

In all naiveté.

This is his song.

Perhaps you think he's mental,

Or experimental -

Watch him for a second,

And realize

That every ounce of power is hidden in the lies.

He is a force with which to be reckoned.

Order and chaos woven into one.

Are we all done?

Which will win out?

Serenity and tranquility

Or general anarchy?

Let us hear his shout.

Fight the urge,

The need to purge

One side of him.

For if you do -

You will rue

The day you let a hero dim.
