I didn't want to go to this event my parents were forcing me to attend. "We already paid for your ticket" they had said said, "It would be a great change for you, maybe you'll make new friends" We had recently moved to London so my parents thought I needed to be social. There was no way I was getting out of this so I just sucked it up and got ready. I decided on a simple sundress that I had gotten a few years ago. I pulled my long hair to the side as I took one more look in the mirror and walked out the door. This was going to be the most boring few hours of my life.
On the train there was this strange man trying to talk to me. "Hey kid, where you going?" He said in a very thick british accent as I moved closer to the doors, my stop was soon anyway. To my surprise he got off too and followed me, I began to run. I was a good runner so I soon lost him. Thank God. It was almost time for the social event from hell to start, so I walked into the building and sat alone in a corner. Luckily no one sat next to me. Soon the lights dimmed and the same man from the train took the stage, "Thank you all for coming" he stared. I sighed and soon zoned out. "Hello?" someone said next to me. I looked up to see a tall dark haired guy staring down at me. "Uh hi" I said awkwardly. "So did you hate that as much as I did?" He said smiling.
I learned that his name was Dan. We went on talking and laughing for a while before he asked me out for a few drinks. "I was just about to go get a few drinks to try and win back the last few hours of my life, would you like to join me?" I had just met him but I felt like I could trust him. "Sure thing!" I replied. As we walked to his car I texted my parents, "I made a new friend and we're gonna hang out for a while, so I'll probably be home late" I only half lied.
We spent several hours at the bar just talking and drinking, maybe drinking a little too much. The more drunk we got, the more we opened up to each other. I learned that we both like the same kind of music and that he lived with his friend, Phil, just a few blocks away. "Would you like to stay with me tonight instead of having to take the train back home?" I agreed, but that might have just been the alcohol talking. We walked back to his flat, stubbling and laughing a little along the way. When we reached his flat he told me I could crash on the sofa. I threw myself on the sofa and watched as he walked towards another room.
"Wait, I'd like it a lot if you would stay with me tonight" I told him. He turned around and walked back to me. We sat there for a few seconds before I heard him say "You're very lovely" to which I replied with a kiss. He returned the kiss and was soon on top of me. We stayed like this for a few minutes until I felt one of his hands moving up under my dress. His hand stopped at me side as if asking for my okay to move on. In reply I broke the kiss and sat up to unzip my dress and remove it. Dan stared at me for only a few seconds before removing his pants and shirt. I caressed his face as we resumed the kiss. He reached to undo my bra so I slowly moved my hand down from his face. When I reached his neck he started flinching and twitching. He pulled away and had a strange look on his face. "Nope, too far. We're done" He said as he got up and walked away. I sighed and layed down, still in my underwear, and fell asleep.
Moral of the story: Don't touch Dan's neck.
