(I hope you enjoy this story ^-^ it's my first Kuroshitsuji Fanfiction. I am trying to keep Ciel and Sebastian in character ^-^)
Chapter One: Winds Of Change
Wind blows calmly across the garden behind the large estate owned by the Phantomhive family. A chair sits in the middle of the garden near the bushes of plain white roses. A man is standing in attention next to the chair. A silver cart with silver tea cups, a steaming tea pot, and a raisin deep dish pie.
"Young Master?" the male asks with a proper English accent while pouring the steaming tea into the cup. His hair was raven black, as was the color of his butler outfit, and his eyes shone in the sun as the ruby color they were. His skin was almost a grey white. A smile broke out as he looked down at the red, throne-like chair he was standing next to. A young male, pale and thin at the young age of 12, sat with his uncovered eye closed. His other eye was covered with an eye patch. The eye patch looked like a pirate's patch, but some how, it perfectly suited the young male. The other male held the cup out for the young male to take it. As so, the young male took the steaming cup quietly and held it up to his face as if to smell its scent. He opened his eye widely to show a sapphire blue eye, dull and clouded with loneliness.
"Jackson's Earl Grey, Sebastian?" The young male simply asked the butler, before taking a sip. Sebastian smiled.
"You have a great sense of smell for tea, Master Ciel." Sebastian said.
"Of course." Ciel said, sipping the rest of the tea before handing the cup back to the butler. Sebastian took the cup and refilled it.
"My, lord, " Sebastian spoke quietly, handing Ciel the cup again. "May I ask you a question?" He had smile on his face as he looked at his Young Master.
"What is it, Sebastian?" Ciel asked, sighing with discontent as he ran his snow white hand through his short, almost a bowl cut, grayish blue hair. A distasteful scowl was on his face as he looked at his butler, who was smiling with humor.
"Why did you wish to have your afternoon tea outdoors, my lord?" Sebastian asked, his humorous smile stretching permanently across his face as he watched his Young Master's face turn from apathetic to a mix of confusion and anger.
"What is it to you?" Ciel lashed out at his butler, throwing his arms childishly at his side. Sebastian only smiled deviously at his furious young master. Ciel sighed and looked up at the sky. His eyes gazed at the clear blue sky for the longest time. Sebastian watched curiously as he did this. Finally, Ciel sighed camly.
"The winds are changing." Ciel simply answered the butler's question. Sebastian looked at him with a smile.
"The winds of change are sweeping through the great land of England." Ciel said, before drinking the rest of his tea. Sebastian took the cup before putting a generous piece of the pie on a china dish and handed it to his master. Ciel took a small bite before taking a larger bite of the treat. Sebastian smiled.
"You don't think—"
"Yes. Prepare a room. I have a feeling we'll have a guest." Ciel spoke, standing up and walking over to the white rose bush." Sebastian was confused, but smiled and bowed deeply.
"Yes, My Lord."
A young girl stood on the bow of a large ship. Her raven hair blew in the wind as her glittering sapphire eyes stared at the coast of England. She inhaled the salty air around her sharply and smiled when she exhaled.
"I'm finally home."
(Pretty cool, hm?
Ciel: Hn…..
Sebastian: -smiles-)
