When Molly told Arthur that he would be watching their family of five while she went to check up on their unborn child, Arthur's stomach dropped. He had done it plenty of times before but the problem was that none of their kids ever listened to him. They were always running around and getting into things they weren't suppose too. It was a wonder how Molly dealt with them every day.
"Dadda?" Arthur heard four-year-old Percy say. "The twins took my book." He added as tears sprang to his eyes. It hadn't even been ten minutes since Molly left and Fred and George were already up to their usual pranking? Arthur could already tell that the rest of the afternoon wasn't going to be fun.
"Now why did they do that?" Arthur asked as he looked up at Percy from were he sat on the couch. He then started to pat his lap, indicating his third eldest son to walk over to him.
"I dunno but I want my mummy." Percy replied once he was sitting on Arthur's lap with his head resting on his father's shoulder.
"We all want your mummy." Arthur whined. He knew that he had to discipline the twins but he just didn't have the technique that Molly did.
"No I want Bill." Percy stated as he quickly took his head off of Arthur's shoulder and looked at him.
"Ok, then lets go get Bill." Arthur replied as he stood up, with Percy in his arms, and made his way over to the stairs. Walking up to Bill's room, Arthur thought about what he was going to say to the twins. If he was already walking up the many flights of stairs that belonged to the Burrow, might as well discipline them for what they had done, right? He had a general idea of what he was going to say to them but he had absolutely no idea how to come off as the 'don't mess with me' kinda guy. "Here you are, Perce." Arthur stated once he had made it to Bill's room and set Percy down. "Twins! You better get your butts over here. Now!" He added, with a strain in his voice. Hearing the serious tone of their father, both Fred and George walked out of their room and stood in front of him. That day marked the first time the twins ever listened to Arthur Weasley.
So this actually happened to me. Mah neighbor, who is 4, decided that she would start crying, "I want my mummy!" And after I went up to hug her, she decided to say, "No, I want Daniel!" [My other neighbor].
