Hikari and Jun both were laying in the girl's backyard as they looked up into the sky. An act they were doing for well over three hours. They just silently looked at the sky without saying a word to each other. It had entranced them.

Finally the boy spoke, his words sounding as if he had just woken up:

"Hey, Hikari?"

"Yeah, Jun."

He turned his head to face the girl, his eyes swirling with many different emotions. His heart pounded but his eyes remained a suborn orange. He took a deep breath and tried to ignore the butterfrees in his stomach. "I like you."

The girl continued to look up into the ever changing sky of blues and whites, of yellows and oranges, of blinding radiance and peaceful grace. Then she smiled with rosy cheeks and laughed. She turned her head to the boy with the smile still on her face. "Yep."

"...Yep?"

"It was really obvious, Jun."

"What?!" Jun screamed in embarrassment. The blond jumped to his feet and started to flail his arms.

Hikari only laughed. "Look." She pointed to the sky that they had both been looking at for the past few hours. "You're like the sky, Jun. You're always there and you're always changing; but just like the big, blue sky, you're amazing."

Jun's eyes grew wide as his mouth dropped open at what she was saying. His words refused to come out of his mouth. No matter how much he wanted to say something, he could only stare at the girl he had grown up with, who now, in the sparkling light, looked like a completely different person. His heart cried mercy as it did flips in his chest.

"I really like you, Jun. I really, really like you, so please stay with me forever."

He bent down and wrapped his arms around the girl. His words still wouldn't come out, but just like the blue sky, it was enough; you could clearly see his answer with a glance.
