Hello, here is a one-shot for the challenge 'It's The SongxPrompt Challenge!' by Violet Scarlet Lily.
Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter or the song Jar of Hearts by Christina Perri.
I hear you're asking all around
If I am anywhere to be found
But I have grown too strong
To ever fall back in your arms
I've learned to live half alive
And now you want me one more time
-Jar of Hearts, Christina Perri
"Harry… Did you know he's back?" Ron asked from his place at his desk. He was watching his friend for any sign that he had heard him, but Harry just kept writing. It seemed like he hadn't even heard the redhead. "Harry-"
"I heard you." The brunette's voice held no emotion. "I just don't see why I should care. He's out of my life. I'm never going to see him again. So I see no point to even think about him." Harry never took his eyes off his report. "Harry… he's been asking for you. He stopped me in Diagon Alley to ask if I could give him your new Floo address. I didn't give it to him of course; I was too busy trying not to curse him. But he said he would keep trying to find you." Ron fiddled with his quill, hoping Harry would show some emotion.
When Draco had left, Harry acted like nothing had happened, like the blonde hadn't broken his heart. He could be found sitting in his flat with a wineglass in his hand as if he was waiting for Draco to come home. Ron and Hermione had had to forcibly remove him from the flat and make him get back to his life. It seemed to work and Harry had gone back to his old self.
But now that Slytherin was back to ruin all of Ron's hard work! The redhead wanted one of Trelawney's crystal balls to throw at him.
"He can try all he wants. I don't know what he expects from me now. But he better not expect me to want him back."
Wow I think this is the shortest thing I've ever writen.
