A/N: My first drabble, and my first MASH fic. And my first MASH disclaimer: Sadly, I own no part of the show.

"What's Korea like, daddy?"
That question was the one thing I dreaded about coming home.
Peg learned quickly not to ask, and she tries to keep Erin from asking.
Sometimes I can't see Erin, or Peg, or Mill Valley. Sometimes my little girl isn't safe in our backyard, she's playing in a minefield. I tried so hard to keep her safe, keep her away from the war, even in my mind. I tried not to think about her while I put pieces of shattered bodies back together.
Sometimes I'm afraid to touch her. Afraid I'll get blood on her dress.
