'What am I going to do with you?' A Hinny fanfiction

Harry put his hand in front of his eyes. The sun was beginning to dip over the horizon- it would be sunset soon.

Ginny was sat next to him, putting a marshmallow on a stick. The fire crackled lazily in front of her.

They were on holiday in Greece. It had taken the two of them a while to book time off work- Harry's work at the ministry had been busy as-of-late, and Ginny had been busy practising for the Quidditch League later that summer with the Harpies.

But they were here- sat on the side of a hill on a quiet Greek island, looking out at the peaceful blue sea that beautifully reflected the sky. Ginny's freckles had morphed into a tan, and Harry had a hard time not staring at her like an idiot.

They been away from home for just over half a week, and, in that time, they had disapparated to wizarding Paris (Fleur's family had insisted on meeting them), then to Tuscany in Italy, where they spent a few days chilling in a villa, and, for the past few days, they had been island-hopping through the Aegean sea. Harry had never really been to countries outside of the UK before, and he had been even more excited that he was visiting them with the girl he loved. He could barely get his head around the fact that they were actually married. It felt like a wonderful dream that he hadn't woken up from yet.

He remembered the look on her face when he had first suggested travelling. She had looked excited and slightly nervous (something that Harry didn't think he was ever going to get used to seeing). They had been married for a few months, but their honeymoon had been somewhat anticlimactic, as they had spent most of it stuck inside their holiday cottage in North Wales due to bad storms. This was their first proper holiday as a married couple.

Ginny's marshmallow began to cook nicely, and the sweet smell wafted up Harry's nostrils. His stomach gave a low grumble.

Ginny turned, grinning slightly. She removed the marshmallow from the stick, and tore it into two. Harry, smiling slightly, opened his mouth, and Ginny popped one half into his mouth.

Harry smiled lazily as he chewed, savouring the flavour. Swallowing, he leaned over and rested his head in Ginny's lap. Ginny looked pleasantly surprised, and she raised an eyebrow.

'Tired, Harry?'

Harry grinned again.

'Nah- your lap just looked really comfy.'

Ginny let out a slight giggle. She leaned forward and kissed him on the ear. Harry felt the hair on his neck stand up, and his heart began to beat faster.

'Hey- stop it.' Harry mumbled, feeling more goosebumps appear on his neck. Ginny grinned.

'What? Feeling ticklish?'

Ginny's eyes flashed mischievously. Before Harry knew what was happening, she had started tickling his sides and under-arms. Harry felt like a thousand feather-dusters were nuzzling at his skin- it was immensely enjoyable.

'G-g-ginny!' gasped Harry, his chest heaving 'C'mon, haha-Ginny, please, yikes- stop iiiiiiit!'

Ginny let go of him, smirking triumphantly. This girl knows me too well, thought Harry, as he caught his breath.

The sun caught Ginny's scarlet hair as it sunk over the horizon, creating a beautiful halo of light.

Harry took Ginny's face tenderly by the cheeks, and she smiled down at him. They moved as one; Harry moving up and Ginny leaning down.

Their lips met.

Harry was dimly aware of the light retreating as the sun dropped further away over the sea. In front of them, the fire crackled merrily.

After what felt like a glorious eternity, their lips parted.

Harry felt his face burning as they pulled apart slowly.

Ginny grinned down at him, her own face as red as her hair.

'What am I going to do with you?'

Harry smiled up at her, his glasses askew.

'Whatever you want, Ginny…'
