Malavai when he holds her for the first time isn't a natural. He's holding her correctly, of course but there's something a little too precise about how he's doing it, a little stiff. But if you look at his face, it's one of the rare times he's smiling.

Torian is still sort of in shock, but he can't stop grinning. He's a bit worried about actually holding her because she seems so small, he's not felt nerves like that since the day he asked for Zanearo's hand… that feels so long ago now. He doesn't say anything for a while but when he finally speaks to her it's in Mando'a, and he's welcoming her.

Corso doesn't want to let her go. He knows how to hold her right, and he feels a pang in his chest wishing his family was here but he tries to ignore it as best he can. He starts talking to her, telling her about the stars and how the galaxy is a big place and how her mum is a very special person.

Andronikos isn't going to say it but he's as close to afraid as he's going to admit. Somehow he seems to hold her right, he's not sure how but he does. He knows the galaxy can be a pretty rough place and he's not sure how he's going to protect her from that, but he'll be damned if he doesn't try. But also right now, everything seems right in the galaxy and he wants that feeling to last for a while so he just keeps holding her.
