Ariel's Point Of View:
I held Finn's hand as we walked into the building. I knew he was going to be teased, and so was I. I had natural red hair, and not the orange kind. Like, blood red hair and a small blue braid in the back which wasn't noticable. Finn had brown hair, with blue and yellow tips, which also was natural. He had on a light blue shirt which said, "I'm with the pretty one and related." He did that to his favorite shirt, because I didn't want to go. He was the best twin brother ever. I had on square black glasses, and a purple shirt which said 'The ocean is love, the sea is life.'
I saw all of the kids, running, smoking, yelling, kissing, talking or reading. I squeezed Finn's hand for dear life. "I don't want to do this. not now not ever. It's so different from Miami."
"I know, but we have to do this. Athena should be coming soon. Dad is gone. He wouldn't be proud of us if we ditched." Finn was always the stronger one, and he had a tear running down his cheek.
I was crying too. We needed Athena here, right now. "I know. But dad is in the sea. He always said not to run away, because then something worse will happen. Face your fears head on, and don't look down. I never knew what that meant until now."
"I know Ari, I know. Let's just find the place."
We walked slowly up the stairs and into the room. In there I saw a old woman with gray hair, and a boy around my age with black hair.
"How can I help you, dearie?" The old woman asked. She seemed lonely.
"Um...I'm Ariel and this is Finn." I pointed to him "We were supposed to come here."
"AH. Ariel and Finn. I'm sorry to hear about your father. Eric here will take Ariel and Gabriela will take Finn. Off you go now. I have work." The peite old woman said as she pushed me and Eric in one door and Gabriela and Finn in another. I looked around scared beacuse my whole life I've never been any where without Finn. I starteed to cry a little.
"Woah, are you okay?" Eric asked. He put his hand around my shoulders and looked like he was going to cry.
"Y-Yeah. I'm fine. Just something I remebered." I wasn't crying. Something about Eric made me feel...happy.
"Are you sure?" He asked again.
"No. My father just died on Saturday and Finn isn't making alot of money at his job. I-I'm also sure that I'm not going to like it here."
"Hey, think on the bright side." He removed his arm. "You don't have a old man around anymore right?"
"YOU JUST DON'T GET IT. MY FATHER WAS THE OLNY REAL PARENT I HAD. I HAD NO MOTHER, BECAUSE ME AND FINN PRETTY MUCH KILLED HER WHEN WE WERE BORN. NO ONE SEEMS TO UNDERSTAND" And with that I ran off, as fast as I could.
