When Roger would shoot up with her, he didn't notice how horribly thin her arms were or how easily you could see her veins.

When he would tenderly kiss her, he never noticed how her lips seemed dry and cracked.

When he would see her smile, he never really noticed the yellow tint of her teeth.

When they would sit down for dinner, he never noticed that with almost every bite she took, she would gag.

When she would get up in the morning, he never noticed the clumps of hair she left behind.

When he would kiss her goodnight, he never noticed the taste of vomit that still lingered in her mouth.

He never noticed that she could go for days without eating and drinking just enough to keep her alive.

He never noticed that even when it was in the middle of a hot summer, she would always shiver.

He never really noticed that she would sleep close to eighteen hours a day.

He never really noticed how she would speak less and less each day.

He never noticed how boney her wrists were as they leaked blood all over the tub.

Roger called it pathetic.

Mark called it sad.

Collins called it unhealthy.

But April called it physical expression.

And that's why she did it.

Because he never noticed.

A/N - I know. Its short. But its just something that popped into my mind. Review? (:
