It's always hard being a half-blood. You never get taken seriously. You want a summer break then BAM! There's a monster in front of you, if not that then a god wanting your help. So this year I decided to do something new.

I finished school like usual, went home, packed for camp, said goodbye to the fam; the same old routine. This time I told my mom not to drive me and that I'd make my own way there. She didn't argue much and gave me some money to take a taxi.

"You'll be careful wont you." Her face showed so much concern and compassion that I was quite guilty for not letter her take me to the camp.

"Yes, Mom, don't worry so much!"

"I love you." I told her I loved her too, then picked up my bag and made my way out the door, waving at her as I went.

Now for the beginning of my wonderful plan; I started walking along the sidewalk looking along the row of shops. I stopped at an old looking shop with crowded windows. The door opened with a ping as I walked into the shop.
