Disclaimer: I do not own Doctor Who, Amy, The Doctor, or anything else of any concern.

This is basically just a oneshot thing! I don't know tons about China, but I hope I didn't get much wrong! I love the Great Wall so I wanted to write about it! Anyway, here it is!

Amy Pond flung open the door of the TARDIS, her red hair whipping around. She gasped at the sight that greeted her eyes.

"What do you think?" The Doctor asked, jumping out. "China, 2016. This is the Great Wall."

"Oh, really?" Amy said, setting her feet on the stone of the huge, famous, wall. The TARDIS had landed right on it. "I hadn't guessed."

The Doctor shrugged. "It could be hard to tell. This looks peculiarly like the town square wall in Bageni."

Amy spun around to face The Doctor. "Oh, of course," she said, "That's just what I thought it was. Anyway, it doesn't matter! We're in China! We can do anything! We can-I don't know-eat rice and stuff!"

"Yeah, because we came to China to eat rice like a local Chinese restaurant," The Doctor said, unmoving. "Well, yeah, that sounds good."

"No, I was kidding," Amy said, rolling her eyes. "We should explore a market! Or go see Mount Everest! I always was sure I could climb it!"

The Doctor grabbed Amy's arm and took off running. "No, we are eating rice!" he yelled, though it wasn't very necessary to yell in a restricted area of the Great Wall of China. "I'm hungry!"

Amy giggled as they ran and ran and ran and ran until they reached the ground. After The Doctor used his physic papers a few times, they managed to pass the guards and soon they approached main Beijing. Amy skipped ahead and behind, waving at people and taking things from markets. The Doctor, however, remained firm, walking straight ahead, until they finally spotted a nice-looking restaurant.

"Finally!" The Doctor exclaimed. "We're in China, I thought it would be easy to find rice!"

"What if there's no rice on the menu?" Amy asked logically as they entered the restaurant and were guided to a seat.

"Come on," The Doctor said. "There has to be. I want rice."

"And if you want something, you think you should automatically get it?" Amy asked challengingly. "You're spoiled."

"No, I'm just very special," said The Doctor protestingly. "And yes, I should get rice. I want rice!"

Amy rolled her eyes and smiled. "Fine," she said. "You win. If there's no rice, I'll tell the waiter it's all my toddler will eat."

Did you like it? I hope so!

Please review! I hope it wasn't too weird, but I'm so tired so I had trouble... But I do like the ending fairly well! So yeah...!
