"Avada Kedavra!"

The words swam in her head, bouncing against happy thoughts, and slowly blackening them sour.

Who knew two simple words could tear her life apart?

For as long as she could remember, her brother had been had always played with her when needed, and had been simply awful sometimes, but he was so loveable,it would seem inhumane not to tuck your head into his chest and feel the steady rising and falling of his chest as he couldn't do that was knew that if she did, she would not be met by the rising warm skin of her brother, only the cold and clammy form of what was left of heart screamed in agony as her mind tortured itself with memories,of how he had stroked he long red hair when she was upset, and how he would never let her cry without good reason.

She wasn't crying now matter how much she desperately wanted to,her eyes remained dry.A emotionless expression spread accross her face as she managed to pull herself away from his droplets of rain fell from the sky,and splashed on her cheeks, mixing with tears that had only now just started to form.

"Why you selfish idiot?"She screamed at the body, the tears now freely flowing down her face."Why can you never give up when it's so obvious your going to lose?"

She fell to her knees, mud splashing onto her black suade coat, and she rested her head on his chest like she always used to,except tears soaked his shirt, and as she had dreaded, the warmth of him had gone.

Her mind flashed back,to the most painful moment of her 15 years of life.

"Awww has ickle'wickle Thomas come to save his sister?" Came a mocking tone, right beside her ear,so close she could feel the vile womans breath curling around shivered.

The 12 people surrounding her noticed this and laughed at her discomfort, whilst an enraged expression grew on her brothers face,an ugly anger marring his handsome face.

"Leave her alone!" He snapped, his wand jabbing towards the woman's head.

She suddenly felt a wand being pushed against her head, with forceful jerking movements randomly throwing her head to the side."You still wanna fight, tough guy?" came a gruff voice from behind her.

"Get her out the way and then yeah, ill fight."Thomas gulped his pride reigning over logical thought.

She was roughly shoved out of the way as a cascade of curses were sent flying towards Thomas, who dived behind a tree before he returned fire with a volley of stunning bodies collapsed to the floor, and another was sent flying backwards, smashing into a tree which snapped and collapsed ontop of the man.

"Avada Kedavra!" Laughed the woman, before a green streak, erupted from her wand and slammed into Thomas.

It all happened so was no gloating, the killer and her comrades simply apparated were no dramatic final moments like there were in the second he was there, the next he wasn't

She screamed an anguished cry, filled with pain and sorrow, a deep sense of loss pulling at the tattered remains of her later she had finally worn out,and simply lay next to the person she had loved most in the world and let the tears come, with no cres emerging from her raw throat.
