Hey guys, Kyo

I feel like I suck at writing fluff scenes with emotions so I'm trying to work on it here.

Please let me know what you guy think, what I should work on or stop doing. As always, reviews, suggestions and constructive criticism is always welcome!

Also, if you really enjoy this pairing and want it to continue! Let me know, I might make it into a story or just keep writing cliplet of their time together! Iunno yet, I don't know either one (or none) works for me!

Have fun reading!

Sabo watched as the gentleman continued his passive-aggressive ministrations towards the lady. A familiar boiling rage starting to build inside him as the fake gentleman reached for the lady's gloved hand and brought it to his face, caressing it lightly. They think just because they're nobles, they can do anything. He gritted his teeth. It wasn't the fact that the noble was trying to get his way with another noblewoman that was bothering him. To be honest, he didn't care which noble gets together nor did he want to know. For all he cared, the nobles could all go to hell. He was done with that life years ago. No, what was bothering the 2nd Chief of Command was the fact that the lady wasn't just any lady. It was his lady.

He hated the fact that she was out there while he was stuck in the sidelines. It wasn't that he didn't trust her to be able to handle the situation by herself. No, she was perfectly capable to the male's ministration, clearly proven as she politely responded, making a quick apology to excuse herself as she slipped her wrist free from the male's grasp. Her movements perfectly worded in such a way that the noble wouldn't be able to do anything more without staining his family's reputation. No, she was well endowed in the rules and regulations of the noble society, something that Sabo couldn't grasp, not even when he was a noble. That was probably why she was out there and him, in here.

"Thank you, Sir Oswald for your kind hospitality tonight," Kyou said, chuckling lightly. She sounded so innocent with the way her voice sounded like bird chirping under the morning rays.

A faint blush adhere to the Sir Oswald's face as he watched the beauty before him cover her small mouth with an equally small hand as a small giggle slipped through those perfectly pink lips. Unlike most noblewoman, the foreigner prefer more subtle make up and Sir Oswald didn't mind. In fact, he quite like the way the light hue emphasized her natural beautyl. It different from the usual engorgement of sex approach that other women usually took. It only added to the air of innocence surrounding the woman that he all wanted so badly to… taint. Sir Oswald wanted to paint the white for the smaller girl black. He wanted to corrupt her. "No, it should be I who should be thanking you for honouring me with your presence." The noble spoke, his voice velvet and pure, free from any of his dark desires.

Another giggle slipped passed the younger girl's lips, "Oh, don't be so humble, Oswald." Her large eggshell-yellow silk dress swayed as she looked over to the side where her family's hedge maze resided. They had finally returned to her estate. "If it weren't for you, I would have be stuck with Sir Nicholas and who knows what would have happened then."

This time a chuckle left the older male as well. "That's true. We all know he has two left feet." He turns towards the noble woman, enjoying the way the moonlit highlighted her features, making her brown eye appear as a rare shade of pink. She looked so defenseless, standing with that unfocused gaze towards the foliage outside of her home as if she was looking far away. It irritated him; the way that her brown eyes seem uninterested with the night's events. Uninterested with him.

The brunette place his embossed glove hand on the woman's shoulder, gently turning her towards him and away from wherever her desired glance was to. "We can't have him hurting your delicate feet now, can we?" He said with a smile on his face to hide the undertone of his message. Although, he doubt that such a sheltered girl could have noticed much less understand the undermining tone he had use.

Unfortunately for him, Kyou did notice. But as per usual, she didn't let it show on her face. She was here for a reason: she was here to collect information. Instead she remained focused on the conversation, allowing her fragile character role play through. "Ah, but surely you jest. Sir Nick wouldn't dare to harm a proper lady."

"He may not intentionally, but we cannot speak much for accidents." He lifted her gloved hand, letting her fingers dip into his hand as he brought the fingers to his cheek. "I wouldn't want anything to happen to you, Dear Kyouko." His emerald eyes glanced into her brown orbs worryingly.

"Then, I must thank you again." She smile back. She naturally slipped her hand free from his to grip the first few layers of her large dress to bow. "It appear that I am in your debt."

Sir Oswald smirked inwardly at the familiar phrase. It was just the phrase he was looking for and it was the phrase that he'll be using against her in a few moments. He loved the way a few words would always arouse the girls into feeling of debt to the male from any harmless dangers that he professed to them. Ah, Indeed women are so naïve. He mind already muddled with how he'll undo the dress that covered too much skin for his liking, yet still enticed him of what could be under, and then the things he'll do to that perfectly smooth skin when he peels the cloth back… he could feel the coils of excitement starting within him at just the thought of painting the noblewoman black.

"But you insult me." Sir Oswald was pulled out of this thoughts at the strange accusation.

"What do you mean? Surely, you understand I had no intentions to harm you. I care only about your health and safety." No, they were supposed to be grateful for his help, not insulted!

"I may be a woman," Kyou started, her brown eyes casted elsewhere again. "But I am a Lovell and you insult the Lovell family name when you doubt a Lovell's ability to defend themselves." She glanced at the male from the corner of her eyes.

Sir Oswald swallowed the lump that formed in his throat at the woman's fiery gaze. He was unsure how to continue, his usual game broken by the unusual woman's words. He was well inform of the other noble's abilities that including Lovell's pride in fencing, but he didn't think the family would go as far as to train their precious fragile daughter in the art as well. Oswald glanced towards the dark hair maiden genuinely concern now, he knew the pressure of the insult he had just made. To insult a family's name was the same as declaring war on a country and he was in no position to be fighting anyone. He could feel a thin layer of sweat building on his forehead as he watched the hidden face of the still noble, waiting for his fate.

Instead the girl giggled, the bite in her eyes already gone as if it never happened. Oswald just stared at her confused. His confusion quickly turned into smugness as he thank the Lords for a woman's stupidity again. "But I do appreciate your care,"

"It is my duty to ensure the safety of a maiden such as yourself." He bowed and Kyou smiled. He was back on track now. Everything would go back according to plan. With that, Sir Oswald gently took her gloved hand again, pressing his firm lips to her clothed knuckles, while glancing up at the lady, "My apologizes."

"It is getting late." Oswald glance up at the girl curiously. He hadn't noticed the way her smile dropped slightly, not reaching as high as they once did. "I should be returning home now." Kyou turned to open her front doors, her hand once again slipping out of the older male's hands. But this time he didn't relent.

"But the night is still young, My Lady." He started and quickly closed the distance that had develop between the two with a reeling spin. His hand still wrapped around the lady's thin wrist. "Shall we take a walk through the gardens?" He gestured to the hedge maze that Kyou had been so intrigued by earlier. I will have my way. He growled, boring his eyes into the woman in his arms.

Kyou eyed the grip on her wrist as she spun back into the hands of the male. Her hand expertly ghosted his left lapel as the spin came to a stop. They were back to their dancing positions. However, instead of looking up at her partner's face, she followed his outstretch hands towards the gardens. I could lose him in those hedges. They are quiet like a tiring maze during the night. She thought disinterested in idea of a walk through the night, there was more pressing matters… no… entertaining company… that she rather attend to, and such, the words that escaped her lips were ones that Sir Oswald, needless to say, weren't too happy about. "I'm afraid I can't take you up on that offer, Sir Oswald. My feet are already tired from tonight's events and I am fatigued beyond compare. I only have eyes for a good night's rest at this time." She didn't pause to give the man time to speak, before she continued, "I bid you farewell, Sir Oswald, may you be safe on your journey back!" She prayed moments before disappearing behind the large doors of her fortress size home.

Kyou's footsteps quickened instead of slowing despite the whines of her tired feet. Nor did she go up the long winding stairwells to her luxurious room, instead, the girl picked up the hem of her dress as she sped her way down the cold stone stairs. Annoyed with the fancy clothes that drowned her small frame, she kicked off her heels and unlatch the hardened cloth crinolette starting from the hip, revealing her blue shorts and pales leg underneath. Kyou continued to strip, ripping pieces of her expensive disguise off her as she made it down to the temporary base of the revolutionaries.

"Well done, Kyou." Hack acknowledge as said woman reached the final stairs to the open areas of their makeshift base in the basement of her home.

Kyou didn't respond, just absentmindedly handed him the documents she had managed to take. Her attention focused on the crushing bustier she was trying to take off. God, how she hated to wear these metal contraptions. Who in their right mind would make a death trap fashion? She could hardly breathe. The whole night she thought she was going to faint from lack of oxygen. But it wouldn't budge. Guess I'll just have to manage it for a little bit longer. Kyou thought as she let a defeated sigh slip pass her lips

"I apologize for having to make you go through that." Dragon said to which Kyou raised her hand and shook her head.

"It's fine. I understand that it had to be me. Since no one knows of my involvement with the revolution yet, it would make sense to send me in." Kyou said maturely. She was the only noble who still maintained her noble connections making her the only viable individual who could go into tonight's event without raising any suspicions. Additionally, she was already well adapted to the world of the nobility and didn't require any training.

"Great job, Kyou!" Koala cheered as she came in, holding a gloved thumbs up towards the other girl. In her other hand was the skirt that Kyou had threw off on her way down. "This is what you were wearing?! It's beautiful!" The ex-slave girl screamed, spinning around with the giant skirt. It really was magnificent. It was embedded with jewels and complimented with lace and bushels here and there. It was a truly an exquisite piece made by a talented tailor.

"You like? You can have it." Kyou offered to the gleaming girl. She was glad to be rid of it. Sure it was beautiful and magnificent, but to her it reminded her of the times she lived trapped in riches, forced away from all her friends. The crinolette was nothing but a steel cage that kept her from going anywhere. It was no wonder he, although born as a noble, hates nobility and all they stand for. So much so that he, too, ran away from it all. Speaking of him… "Koala, where's Sabo?" She hadn't seen her childhood friend ever since she came down. Kyou thought he'd be the first one she saw as soon as he returned. She was even looking forward for it. She even ran down those stairs to see him. A small smile graced her features as she remember how against the plan he was, but was unable to beat the logic behind her words. He was just standing there, fuming. How cute… Her smile faltered as she couldn't help but feel slightly disappointed at his lack of presence.

"Oh, him?" She dragged out the second word as if Sabo was just some annoying bug instead of the their chief of command. She jabbed her finger behind her to the other room. "He's sulking in the other room." Her attention went back to the large cloth in her hands as the noblewoman stepped towards the other room. Kyou didn't even stop as she slipped off the excessive jewelry she adorned despite having put on the bare minimum and placed it on the pile Koala was holding. Her attention focused solely on the room she wasted no time to arrive at. "Hey, wait this is heavy!" Koala shouted, tipping over from the combined weight of the skirt that was now a ball in her arms and jewels resting on it.

"I did good, don't you think?" Kyou quested, leaning against the threshold, to the man leaning on the table before him. His face inches away from the screen projected by the den den mushi. It was the same screen that had revealed all the activities of the night's gathering of nobles. However, it no longer held the view of the grand ballroom, instead, the screen depicted a blond adorned in a blue shirt slouched over with his chin on the table and the signature black top hat with goggles covering his face. Kyou picked the vision den den mushi from her and turned it off. The screen before the male turned back. "You know, you'll get old man eyes if you stand so close to a screen." Kyou sighed, plopping down next to him.

When the male didn't even as much as flinch, Kyou took a seat beside the male and turned her back towards the male, combing her blue locks to the side and front to reveal the messy and slightly undone laces of the corset. "I tried to take it off, but it got tangled." She explain sheepishly before glancing behind her. "Help please."

She knew that was enough to get the male behind her to react and she wasn't disappointed as warm fingers brushed against her bare back as Sabo started to work on the laces. Ever since Ace's death, Sabo had made a pledge to always be there for his brother, Luffy, and for Kyou whenever they needed him. No matter where he is, how he is doing, he'll come to their aid when they holler for him.

"I don't like it…" Sabo muttered suddenly and so quietly that Kyou wondered if she had imagined him speaking. But she didn't need to question as the male continued, "I should have gone instead of you."

Kyou sighed she knows where this is coming from. They had the same talk when Sabo found out that Kyou was going in his steed to the noble's dance. He had tried to stop her then, but she was already dressed and ready go to, leaving him with no time to convince her otherwise. "Sabo," She sighed, "we agreed that I would be going since I was more adapt to the nobility lifestyle than you. It'll be less suspicious, also, they would never suspect a woman… also your face is already known as the 2nd chief of Command under Dragon-san." Her words softened, "There wasn't any dangers. Okay? I'm fine."

"Of course not, if there was, I would have come to save you." Kyou felt her muscles relax as the familiar laughter escaped her childhood friend.

"Koala will get mad at you for leaving your post Again." Kyou warned, laughing lightly.

"She's always mad." Sabo muttered while Kyou sweat-dropped at his response.

"That's only because she and Hack are the ones who get in trouble for your selfishness."

Sabo muttered something in response but Kyou knew that that was the end of it. He never listens. Kyou pouted as she rested her head on her bare arms. She was leaning on the sofa now, but her back was still twisted towards Sabo so he could undo the laces. "Ne," she started, "wanna tell me why you're so upset?"

"… I'm not upset?" Sabo muttered and his voice lifted at the end as if he was asking a question. His eyes darted away even though it was well hidden under the shadow of his hat. He didn't even have to look to know that she wasn't buying it. But there was no way that he was going to tell her about his stupid jealousy. Kyou wasn't even his girlfriend, which meant that he has no right to tell her to stay away from other males who… she may end up liking. As soon as the thought passed his head, he shoved it back, not wanting to dwell on such a possibility. Just thinking about it made him want to punch something… or someone.

He's so cute. Kyou grinned inwardly as the male before her shook visibly as he tried to avoid the question. But that didn't mean she was going to let him. She loved how cute he looks whenever he's stuck admitting something. Even if they weren't officially together, Kyou never failed to voice her feelings towards the male, constantly only interested with him and him only. Her eyes remained on the male, waiting innocently for his reply, a small pout rested on her lips. Her neck remained stretch as she continue to watch the man she knew well. He was probably biting his lips, a habit of his when he was having trouble with keeping negative emotions. But what emotion? True to his words, Sabo wasn't really upset. Even Kyou knew that. What she didn't know was why. She hadn't done anything wrong throughout the night. She played her part well and got all the information she needed and then some. It was a successful night, even if she already knew that, she just wanted to hear it from the 2nd in command.

"He's just jealous because Sir Oswald kept flirting with you." Koala's voice came from the doorway. She had managed to get all the pieces of the dress together without falling over this time, although she seem to be having balancing issues. "But don't mind me, I'm just here to put this away." She said just as Sabo's head jump up to speak, shushing his unvoiced words to stay quiet. She placed the cloths down on the table and left without another word. The door clicked as it closed.

Now it was just Kyou and Sabo again. However this time, Kyou knew exactly what was going on. Oh, am I going to milk this. Kyou thought devilishly as she watch the blushing blond glancing away nervously. His eyes would dart back to her from time to time, waiting to see what she would do. But each time, he was met with the same docile face he had seen her put on throughout the night. And it infuriated him but he figured she was probably just teasing him. He received his answer as she spoke.

"Jealous, were you?" She teased. Even though she didn't smirk, it was evident in her words. Her voice carried her emotions well even though her face didn't seem to match with it. She leaned closer towards the male until their faces were inches apart. "Now why would you be jealous?" Kyou already knew the answer to the question, but she couldn't help but to tease the man. She wanted to hear it from him.

Sabo gulped, his face flushing a deeper shade of red. They was so close that he couldn't use his hat to hide his blush anymore. So close that he could feel her breath against his skin, tickling him. He could see every detail of her small face. Her eyes were half-lidded as she peered up into him, looking under his hat to ensure that she could see his reddening face. Her lips were slightly parted, almost as if she was caught in between a pout and a smile. Her soft lips looked so inviting to the male, and he suddenly wanted to close the distance. Realizing the sudden intrusion of his thoughts, his face erupted into flames.

Kyou pulled back in slight shock, not expecting his reddening face to explode into flames, but soon the shock was overcome by the need to laugh at the surprised and confused look on Sabo's face. He shook his head, trying to stop looking like a candle but it wouldn't work. The actions only made Kyou laugh even more and leave Sabo flustered. Finally, the flame receded.

"It just comes out at random times." Sabo muttered. He was still unable to control his brother's abilities as much as he would like.

"Are you even listening to me?" Sabo glanced up at the girl confusingly. Had she said something?

"Hmm? Can you say it again?" Kyou pouted, folding her arms across her chest at the man who just scratched his head lightly.

Kyou raised her finger, about to say 'nothing' when a thought came through her mind. One that she couldn't put down without at least trying first. "At least Sir Oswald listens." She teased, turning away in time to miss Sabo's eyes narrowing.

Sabo had enough of that egotistic pervert who had claimed Kyou's attention all night long. The man had prolonged Kyou's return for hours already as he kept asking her to dance with him, and even went as far as to walk her back at a snail's pace. And he still wanted a walk. Now Kyou was wanting to be with him? Anger pooled at the bottom of his stomach. "Then perhaps you should spend the night with Sir Oswald." Sabo spat and immediately regret the words slipping past his lips. It was such a childish remark

Worry started to crawl towards the noblewoman as she felt the air around them shift, not that she needs to read the atmosphere after what Sabo just said. It confused her, his words. She knew that hers held no weight; she had just said it to rouse him but she didn't think she'd get that reaction from the male. Kyou glanced back towards the male, her face falling back into a thin mask of annoyance as she realized that the male was now hiding his face in his large hat so that she couldn't read it. A habit she always disliked. It made her feel as if though he was hiding… as if they were distant again.

She honestly didn't know what was wrong with the boy. She had barely given Sir Oswald the time of day. They may have spent the entire night together, throughout it all, she had be distant from the male. Her thoughts focused solely on the mission and the commander she'll be meeting as soon as her work there is done. Like the noble had said, the night's still young, and she was planning on spending it with Sabo if he wasn't so… pessimistic.

"Fine." She finally said. She knows what she was doing was childish and immature, but she couldn't help herself. She hated when he's stubborn and even more so when she hid something from her. With that, the girl puffed her cheek and got up to leave the room when she felt a sharp pull from the laces behind her, tightening the loosening corset around her and forcing a choked scream out of her as she fell back.

Kyou brought a hand towards her head, trying to reorient herself, but instead of lacing her fingers through her long locks, it hit something hard. She patted the thing over her face, realizing it was a hat covering her view. Well that explains why everything's black. She thought as she lifted the hat off her face. The signature hat wasn't hard to miss after all. Not when it was everywhere he was. The girl glance looked up, behind her to see the hat's owner. Exactly as she had suspected, the top hat that once sat on Sabo's head was now missing, held in her hand as she rested on him, her back flushed to his chest. "What?" She watch as the man seem to twitch into attention at her voice. It didn't have its usual ring.

"What?" Kyou repeated, before adding. "You wanted me to go and you pull me back so I can't go? It's as if you don't want me to go… and you complain that woman are confusing." Her voice became light, as she closed one eye, while keeping the other trained on the older male. Her head was tilted back as she glanced up at the male from the position they fell in. Their parted lips hovered, inches from each other, blowing warm air on each other. However unlike before, Kyou's face was now upside down with a faint blush fitted across her always teasing woman's face.

"That was an accident! My fingers got tangled in the laces." Sure enough, she could feel his fists awkwardly crushed between her back and his chest.

Kyou closed her eyes as a sigh escaped her lips, spreading warmth across Sabo's slowly smirking lips. "How do you manage to get your fingers tan—" Kyou's words were shushed as a pair of lips covered hers. Brown eyes shot open, but soon shutter close as she realize she couldn't see anything under the shadow of Sabo's neck. The kiss was gentle and sweet, but filled with a fiery passion, but like with everything else, it ended too early as the male pulled back. A satisfied smile on his features.

Sabo wrapped his somehow freed hands around Kyou's bodice, resting them at the edge of her slightly loosened corset. He had managed to free his hand throughout the kiss. "I'm not jealous." He smile at the girl laying on top of him and pulled her closer to his chest. That's right, Sabo wasn't jealous. Not anymore. Not while he had Kyou in his arms and her warm and delicious lips against his.

"Gosh, I don't understand you men." She pouted glancing sideways, her face flushed and breath uneven.

Now it was Sabo's turn to chuckle lowly at the fluster girl's face. You're not getting off that easily. He thought as the girl glanced up at his sudden laughter. Slowly, he guided his hat, still in Kyou's hands, towards them, cloaking their faces in under the hat's shadow just as he lowered his head towards the blushing girl.
