Unexplainable Insanity

It was finally done. Martin the Warrior had finally slain the wicked wildcat queen, and the body of Tsarmina Greeneyes lay at the bottom of the lake alongside the waterlogged ruins of Kotir. Exhaling heavily, Martin lifted his sword to the sky and fell to his knees in the mud. "I... I did it, Boar." He panted and coughed into his paw, not surprised to see traces of red afterward. "Mossflower... Mossflower's free once more." As the wounded warrior-mouse went to lay down, a strange bubbling noise came from behind him, and he turned around to investigate.

What he saw surprised and baffled him, and for as long as he lived he would never truly understand what he saw.

Floating in the center of the lake, cackling madly, was none other that Tsarmina herself, adorned from head to footpaw in inflatable flotation devices. The cat patted the yellow rubber-ducky head protruding from the inner tube around her waist. "Heeheehee, oh I'm so glad I have you, little friend."

As if this wasn't confusing enough for poor Martin, she suddenly burst into song.

"Rubber ducky, you're the one,"

She then squeezed the ducky's head to make it squeak, careful not to puncture it with her claws.

"You make not drowning lots of fun," Squeak squeak!

"Oh, rubber-ducky I'm aw-full-ly fond of you!" Squeak squeak!

And so, Tsarmina Greeneyes floated down the River Moss singing her song and hugging the duck-head, leaving confusion and hysterical laughter in her wake. The only beast not affect by this in any positive way was Martin. Blinking quickly, the warrior lay himself in the mud in the fetal position and waited until Gonff and Bella arrived and never spoke of the incident to anybeast for the rest of his days.

A/N:

I need to get back into comedy. I mean, seriously, it takes me so long to get something serious done that I lose interest with the thing entirely but I can churn something like this out in a matter of half an hour. I'm not kidding, this took me no less than thirty minutes to type this entire thing. I'm not sure if I should be proud of myself or if I need to get a life.

Oh well.
