Brief Overview: After the War is won (it took like what? Three months?), Hermione and Ron return back to Hogwarts without Harry for their seventh year. Because of Harry's death (sorry Harry fans), they just couldn't seem to face each other anymore. Yet their love for each other continues. Could they mend the pain and go on with life? Would they always be another stranger to each other? HGRW

This is my first fan fiction, so everyone PLEASE COMMENT. If I get positive response I would probably write more. SO appreciated.

DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT own any of these characters, especially Ron and Hermione, I'm not that smart. I do not own their relationship either, since it was apparent since the third book that they were meant for each other, What I DO own is the story plot :D

Let the story begin…

Hermione and Ron had come back as heroes they'd never expected to become. As they stepped in to the Great Hall, deafening cheers crashed upon them. They were the youngest survivors of the War. Even the great Harry Potter had not survived. As they looked around, seeing faces filled with admiration, Ron and Hermione gave weak smiles, but felt as if they did not belong in Hogwarts anymore. They've seen too much, done too much, heard too much, and felt too much to be once again accepted into a world of joy and innocence. Ron's finger brushed Hermione's hand, as if asking for support, but Hermione jumped as if it had shocked her. After Professor McGonagall had given them her word of honor, they returned back to the Gryffindor Table. The Gryffindors embraced them with love and welcome, and the school began their feast.
