Maybe. A great way to start off right? Maybe.

19 years ago, a country named Celladora was discovered. The land was rich, climate was nice, and it seemed crops would be plentiful. And they were. The personification of this newly formed Country was named Charlotte. Well, that was the name given to her. She grew with the guidance of Mr. Austria, although, she had always wished for somebody like Mr. Italy to raise her. She enjoyed the company of each of the countries. Each always smiled, waved, and laughed when she greeted them.

It was only when she turned 8 did Mr. Austria begin to teach her about the dangers each country held. From that day, she did exactly as he ordered. From that day, she no longer waved to Japan. From that day, she never helped Prussia prank his brother. From that day she didn't draw with Italy. From that day, she never sat on Russia's lap while he told her his daydreams of sunflowers. She became unattached. She grew in silence for the most part. Speaking when spoken too. While the others around became sad at this, Austria thought it was for the better.

It was one day, the Celladorian was 12, that Mr. Austria had asked Charlotte to wash the dishes. Scrambling to push in her hair and dash into the kitchen, she collected his plate and hers. Spluttering the words, "Yes sir." her hair got in the way of her eyes. In one movement, the plates shattered to the ground and Charlotte on top of them. The glass pierced Charlotte's hands and scarlet blood dribbled to the floor. Tears welled up in the poor girl's eyes, but it wasn't because of the pain. It was fear.

Fear than the man would strike her or make sure she lost her power over her country. The tears that streamed down her face were as cold as the ice that shot through her heart. She stood and raised herself. Dashing off to grab the broom before he could strike like she thought he would, she was stopped by a force she hadn't experienced. The Austrian had her blood covered wrist in his hand.

"The mess I can understand, but your nervousness towards all of the countries has gotten out of hand. People are beginning to think I'm raising you wrong." He forced her look turn and look his way. Austria didn't look angry. Just upset. It surprised her so much, she was unable to speak.

This inability met with her later in life when she turned 19. That was the day of her first World Meeting. It was also the day she would choose between the Axis or Allies.

AN: Hope you guys like the prologue. It's going to have a lot to do with the later story.
