This is my first story I've ever actually published but I don't care what you write in the reviews. I would like some feedback though. Not sure if I want to continue with it or not...let me know what y'all think.

Darkness By Force

Chapter 1

It's dark. Pitch black. Still in her room. Something's wrong. Someone else is here.

There's a wetness on her neck. Trying to touch it. She can't move. Her comforter is warm. She's freezing, aching, thirsty.

Her eyes start to adjust to the room. The room burst with light. Shades drawn. Lights off. She could see everything in her room. Like sun shining down in it. Movement. She turned her head. She saw him.

A boy. Her age. Staring at her with interest. Blacker then night hair. Obsidian eyes. Full, pale, red lips. Slightly parted. She knew him. At school, work, home, on the bus, at the park, even... She knew him.

Jake.

They were friends. Then enemies, back to friends, and now...? They had a fight. Last week...about their relationship. They haven't spoken in a week. He came. He always came back. She loves him. His hot temper and unreadable expressions. She has known what he is for the better part of two weeks. Two weeks. He wants her to become one with the night. The choice is hers. But...she can't accept the 'gift.' Memories flood back into her mind. He didn't leave the decision up to her. He changed her. Last night.

She fought. Too strong. The image didn't seem right in her mind. He has never forced her. Ever.

Why?

'It wasn't me,' the words reflected his face. She tried to speak. Too weak. 'You'll only hurt yourself. Don't move, speak, think. You're draining yourself. Please hear me out.'

Pleading, silky, chocolately voice. She loved, missed, and hated that voice. How could he? How? One word.

'Falcon.'

Understanding. The Lord of The Underworld. Relief. Confusion. Falcon made him turn her? Why?

'A wife.'

Terror. Me?

'You look like his departed love. From long ago.' How? Me? Not part of that world.

'You are now.' Not Jake. Someone else is in the room. Dark. Sinister. Her mind raced. Energy draining.

Welcoming abyss.
