This is just a little one-shot I wrote for Mother's Day. Don't forget to annoy the crap out of your moms today!

They never cease to amaze me.

Every Mother's Day, they do something different. Whether it's seeing the Hoover Dam, the Parthenon, the Sistine Chapel, or the Coliseum. It's always somewhere different.

We've created a tradition over the years: breakfast in bed, present, road trip or airplane ride, another present, sight-seeing, then we stuff ourselves until we're forced to stop and sleep.

The tradition was slightly altered this year when I didn't get breakfast in bed. Instead, I got breakfast on a jet.

Yeah, that's right. A jet. My Seaweed Brain of a husband rented a freaking jet.

You're probably wondering how a Son of Poseidon can go on a plan without getting zapped by Zeus. Well, it was actually funny to watch my mother, Athena, and Aphrodite threaten him not to do it. Athena, not because she gives a crap about Percy, did it because if he was in the air, I would probably be with him. And she doesn't want me being electrocuted with him. Aphrodite did it because 'I can't have my favorite shipping couple blast out of the sky!' Hera would have probably said something too, if she didn't hate my guts.

Anyway, I basically had a heart attack when I woke up. Percy (earning him a punch) busted out laughing at my expression. I did get breakfast when I woke up, though.

We flew to London, and I almost cried several times. Mother's Day isn't only a day to celebrate the people who freaking gave birth, it's also when the mothers get to reflect on their families. And gods, was I happy to do that.

Our youngest daughter, Elizabeth, is a 3 year old version of Percy. Black hair, grey eyes, almost invisible freckles on her cheeks. She is the sweetest little girl on earth.

Then there's our oldest son, Aaron, who's 5 years old. Blonde hair, sea green eyes, Percy's lop-sided grin. You can tell he's a descendent of Athena by how smart he is. He can do math problems that would have most teenagers confused.

And Percy. My loving, stupid, amazing husband who loves to spoil me, not that I'm complaining.

Seeing all of them run around our hotel room (with a very nice view of Big Ben) with Elizabeth on Percy's back and Aaron trailing behind them, is enough to make me want to ball my eyes out.

It's pretty much just a normal Mother's Day, but it's by far my favorite.

Hope you liked it!
