INNOCENCE (DGray-man - Devit, Jasdero, PG)

They split, exhaustion setting in at the most inopportune time. That monster still waits to be destroyed by them, so why is Devit falling back and why is Jasdero's golden hair waving by him?

Right. That fucking monster actually overcame their powers to wield imagination in reality. Devit curses, biting his bottom lip (splitting it) as he watches the light slowly slip further and further from his grasp. He's trying hard to imagine a rope that'll spring forth from the door and latch itself to something still standing in the crumbling room. He'll grab Jasdero and they'll climb back up and kick that demons ass.

Jasdero.

Devit turns his head, though its difficult with busted ribs and free-falling, but he manages and immediate dread fills his body. Jasdero is falling head-on into the pitch blackness, and he's doing it while unconscious - the possibility of there being a bottom to this pit is likely, considering it is apart of Noah itself, so Jasdero is in danger.

This kick-starts Devit's instinctual desire to always keep Jasdero from harm. Jasdero was his other half, and his other half was dying. It wasn't just the possibility of him crushing his brains against a concrete floor that may exist at the bottom, but Devit finally noticed Jasdero was bleeding from a wound to the stomach. Some of the blood actually splattered against his face. Devit needed to hurry.

Drawing from deep within, Devit drew upon the self that could and would not live without Jasdero. Propelled from the materialized, albeit small, burst of flames, Devit managed to grab a hold of Jasdero's ankle. Pushing himself forward, while pulling Jasdero down, Devit was able to wrap both arms around Jasdero's torso, capturing him at last.

He hugged his twin tightly to his chest, heaving a sigh of both relief and being so close to his twin. He looks down at Jasdero's sleepy features and very lightly kisses his forehead. "Without you Jasdero, I'm just Devit." He murmurs softly, leaving their fate to obscurity.
