When Blair walked into her bedroom, her pulse quickened when she saw him. Hair ruffled, clothes ruined, heavy bags under his eyes; her drunken… She couldn't really think of what he was too her. Friend? Boyfriend? Lover? Enemy? Nothing could explain what she thought of him. The later almost fit, referring to the fact that she finally could admit her utmost feelings for him. The only thing he could do was tell her that he didn't want her, proving that they were both better apart. His eyes bore into her, shocking her at how much they told her. Told her of how much he was pissed, sad, and so many different things, that all she could do was stare back into his glassy orbs. Blair walked over to her bed where he sat. She knelt down onto her bed, enveloping Chuck in her arms, her head in the crook of his neck. The smell of alcohol was overpowered, as if he bathed in it. His hands move up her arms, grasping her hand for dear life. Chucks tears slid down his cheeks and dripped onto her satin sheets, staining them with his grief.

"He fuckin' died," Chuck's voice was barely a whisper, as Blair held him tighter. "No one wants me." Blair shook her head immediately, pulling him down so that he was lying away from her and her arms were wrapped around his torso, her head nuzzling the back of his neck.

"Chuck you know that's not true. We all want to help you," She chocked out, her owns tears causing her voice to seem like it couldn't work. She swallowed and began again. "You just need time. You need to know that weather you have family or not…there are people who…. love you." Her sobs becoming harder to control as she heard his steady breathing. She knew he had fallen asleep. She wanted to help him. She wanted to be the person he could lean on. She wanted him to put down the bottle and seek the love of others instead. When he woke up, she was going tell him that his place was in the Upper East Side, and that she really did love him.

But she never got the chance.
