Prologue
: The Beginning"You do realize that this is it?"
The voice drifted breezily across the room. If you could call it that, -- a room that is. A goblet was placed in the center and to that center the elixir of life flowed. It was through tiny crevice the liquid substance drifted, eerily glowing in the dimly lit place. In fact, it was the only source of light. Two figures stood on the ancient grounds. One a more holy icon, commonly known (these days) as angels. And yet, something was slightly off about them. Could it be the companion who through off the balance? Perhaps, for you seem the other was a little less than innocent. A demon, one could say.
The pale-haired winged creature sighed heavily. Odd, for it did not seem that such a being could possess humanlike traits. The face, however, was as smooth as a riverbed stone. Expressionless in other words. Both appeared just so. And both possessed such inhuman beauty it was hard to look at either of very long. Curious, for they did not seem to be of any specific gender.
While the golden being was pale, and screamed out purity, the other was shimmering in demonic ways on the outlook of darkness. Yet, even further mysterious was the fact that neither were particularly good or evil. Holy or Damned. They were just who they were. For a time at least. And here so, the fatal debate began.
The demon -- known as Shjezble on earthly terms -- waited calmly for the answer of Chammerodd -- the angelic being.
"I do," came the slow reply. "I, in fact, do know that this cannot continue as is. We no longer have control." The other wearily objected with a glint in their eyes, said nothing. Continuing as if never stopping, Chammerodd picked up, "Our abilities of fighting one another are over. In these forms, no longer can was continue to destroy these planets, stars, galaxies, or even this universe. We have to move on."
Pale azure eyes poured into the crimson pools of Shjezble. Not needing expression to stress of how this matter carried extreme importance.
"And how do you suggest we do so? Our truce will not last eternally. If neither your or I begin this war once more, then our simpler inventions shall. This is only one more area we have lost all command over."
"My plan is not simple, bit it will have to do," the golden feathered being carried on. "Every generation two forces shall collide into one. And every generation of this, this force shall be destined to fail. For the being cannot bare such a heavy burden alone. Only when this all powerful being meets a force equal to it, and be able to calm the tilting tides of warring surfaces within, will the battle be won for either side. And thus, it will reign over space, forever and for more. But, this beings journey shall be filled with hardships and luxuries, starvation and fullness, illness and health, love and hate, but most importantly, it will bare the one thing that can save or damn us all. Innocence. This being shall be oblivious of what matter of weight this truly carries. Although it will have a faint idea, it will not even being to comprehend how far this goes. Only when it meets a counter balance shall this being be allowed to chose between dark and light. And when that moment comes, we can only hope that the decision is true."
Flashing eyes glittered in hatred, clearly stating how Shjezble felt over this 'plan'.
"That is crazy!" the demon shouted, voice carrying.
"Come now, it is our only logical choice. There is nothing you nor any other can do to prevent it." Chammerodd's voice slowly rising over the last sentence. "Stop being foolish and draw your blade, it is time begin!"
With that, two great weapons appeared in each grasp, ready to aid its master. Lunging at the same moment, all time and space seemed to freeze. The winds beginning to howl in dispute, and the life blood glowing in the room stirred wildly. Combining forces, they became a spiraling cage around the two warring spirits.
As sudden as it started in a quick breath, the two hearts were each pierced by a striking blade true to aim until the end. The goblet once in the center, displayed upon a shockingly beautiful antique mantle piece, fell down between the gold and crimson bloods. Adding what neither being were capable of possessing -- Innocence. And so, it began.
