"Hey, out of all four of us, we're the only two that haven't kissed."

Jughead's statement is innocent enough, but it still makes Archie feel uncomfortable. It's not like he's against kissing a guy — there's nothing wrong with that! — but he's already been there, done that. Not that Jughead knows. Archie has told approximately zero people.

"Yeah," he replies, trying to laugh it off. Why is it making him so nervous? It's not like Jughead is asking him to kiss him. It's fine.

"I've never kissed another guy," he adds, walking over and sitting next to Archie. Great. He's going to prolong this.

"How inexperienced," Archie says, slightly truthful, slightly in jest. Jughead, however, raises an eyebrow. He can totally see past Archie's joking exterior. Archie cringes.

"What guy have you kissed?"

Archie laughs and licks his lips. God, he should've just left this buried deep in his stomach. Except he knows that Jughead won't leave him alone until he gets an answer. He's Jughead, reporter extraordinaire.

So he might as well just spit it out.

"Kevin," Archie says, so fast that he hopes Jughead just doesn't hear it. Judging by his eyebrows, Jughead totally heard him.

"How did that happen?" he asks, looking close to laughter.

Archie shakes his head. "Just forget it."

He should've kept this secret buried.
