Vulcan Male/Human Female

He never thought he would think the way he does now, but Humans were more than worthy of any Vulcan's respect. Of all the species his kind had encountered since entering space, it was the humans that seemed to bring out aspects of their kind like no other.

Humans were emotional yet capable of harnessing it with not only logical thought, but with a kindness and loyalty that staggered most Vulcan's on a visceral level. Physically, Humans were weaker. However, their ability to harness anger and fear along with a stunning ability to work as a unit made them fearsome opponents in the face of the physically stronger races…including Vulcan's.

There was one aspect of Humans that Vulcan's could barely tolerate, and that was their smell. Humans, for the most part, had a regrettable lack of smell in comparison to most races; whereas a Vulcan's olfactory sense was almost as good as Tellerites… albeit a distant second.

The smell of humans drove Vulcan's to absolute distraction without the employment scent receptor deadeners. Despite the advanced medical science available to Vulcan's, this measure was a stop gap at most. This sense of smell blockers lasted no longer than 8 standard hours, and could only be used once a day. Vulcan had many researchers working on better methods, but until then, Vulcan's employed several strategies to avoid the full effect of human smell upon their Vulcanoid biology.

And that is where he found himself right now as his scent deadener had worn off 2 hours ago, and he was still hours away from being able to mediate. The human female across from him was perspiring from the close contact combat he was instructing her in. And the next time he took her down…and she was under him on the mat…he didn't know if he could keep from initiating a mating bond and fucking her into the ground.

As you see, humans misconstrued early on that Vulcan's thought they smelled bad. The awful truth was, the Human smell evoked an almost uncontrollable sexual response in Vulcans. And if he wasn't careful, he would be the next in the long line of Vulcan males bonded to Human females.
