Dream Catcher
Ch.1 – Mystery
Marik shot up in bed in a cold sweat holding his head. He had another dream about that strange girl. He couldn't remember ever coming across her before and yet she seemed so familiar. Maybe it was because this was a reoccurring dream and he was just starting to lose his mind. He looked out the window, staring at the city lights and thinking of his younger days. He grew up in Egypt helping to care for the ancient tombs, later moving to Japan to see who had taken the millenium puzzle used as an ancient item of great value. He found a young boy in possession of it, one who resembled the pharaoh whom Marik had grown up learning about the tomb for. But he couldn't for the life of him figure out why he kept having this dream. He had asked his sister about it but she just told him to look at this with an open mind, so she was no help. He went and got some water as he went over everything in his head. There was this mysterious girl with long black, slightly wavy hair and the deepest brown eyes he had ever seen. She was petite yet well built, her curves were perfect, she had small bare feet and delicate hands. She was dressed in white Egyptian linens like the royal family but instead of gold bands on her arms, wrists and ankles she had silver ones. She would smile and eave to him before running off into the tombs. He would always chase her but she was always just out of his reach. He would wake up out of frustration. Who was this girl that appeared in his dreams? It would seem that he'd have to return to Egypt to find answers, but as to what he might find, he hadn't the slightest idea.
