Turning Winds

Chapter 1 = Rugged Stars

Hello everyone! I'm here for another story! Yaaaaay!(Really, I'm doing at least 17 different projects right now, urggh)But that's not the point!

Sooo...here's my 2nd Pikmin story! :D Let's start!

llllllllllllllllllllll

Green. Yellow. White...The world was confusing. Why was it so dang bright? I tried to blink, but the only response was a crash. Then, I felt a flashback tugging at my mind...

lllllllllllllllllllllll

Flashback:

"Please fasten your seatbelts. Turblance warning." A female voice chimed up, and moments later, clicks and slight discomfort ruffled through the plane.

"Daddy...I'm scared..." In one of the Class A seats sat a tiny girl. She was 5 at the most.

"Don't be. Turblances happen. It's just nature, Katie. No need to worry." The man next to her was unmistakibly her same dirty blond hair, the ocean blue eyes, the noses. But she still clasped his sleeve as if it were a lifesaver.

"But...Da-AHH!" The plane shook. It was Katie's first plane ride, after all...

But then, everyone could worry. The piolets were panicking, and moments after Katie's father began to calm down everyone, a voice interrupted.

"Please prepare for emergency landing. If you have a parachute, please prepare to deploy. Thank you." The calm turned to fear. People were hugging to the walls. Katie's father prevented Katie from leaving. She stared out the window. Calmly. The ground was rushing up to meet her...

Then, all at once, the plane crashed, Katie flew out, and as soon as she landed, the plane exploded right behind her. The force of the blow blew Katie sky high, and she screamed as the plane caught fire, and then so did she. And, the ground was flying towards her...and when she hit it, she was out.

I at once returned to the present. My face was wet, because even I knew nobody survived but me. I tried to get up, and a jolt of pain rippled through my body, making me scream. I'm alone. No help. I must help myself. Shaking, I managed to open my eyes a little more. It's a...forest? Strange...

My hair is a foot shorter. The ends are blackened. I look up, though, and around. The plane is nowhere in sight. I'm a strange sight here, because I have a feeling this wasn't where we were supposed to land. And I know the only guidance will come from anything that can be salvaged from the wreckage.

I take a moment for it to sink in, then I shuffle to the plane. My father. Probably never to be seen again...and then there's Mom. She's probably freaking out that our plane didn't come in. She would have a good reason to, but if I didn't return...

I shook my head and looked through the plane. There's my backpack, which was fireproof. That didn't stop it from getting charred, but it saved all my stuff. I scour the plane for the next 5 hours, thanks to my watch. I find an interesting number of things. Bags, suitcases, phones. The phones don't get signal, though- which sucks. Even if one happened to work, I wouldn't know where to call for help. I'm pretty sure the police can't come here.

I stuff a ton of food and water in my backpack, then use someone's fireproof blanket to make a tent. I think I'm using a tree until I look up and see only two leaves sticking out. I jump. Is that a...clover? Seems a liittle too big. Well, I guess way too big...because it's way over my head. That's when it hits me- I'm less than an inch tall.
