Dreams are one of the most complex elements of our lives. If studied properly they can tell us our desires, deepest secrets and ever our biggest fears. Some say that they are the window to our souls, but then again they also say that the eyes are the windows to our souls. Blaine Anderson has been dreaming quite frequently about a pair of eyes, the only problem is, he can't figure out who they belong to.
Every morning Blaine wakes up with a pair of eyes tattooed onto the back of his lids, they aren't always the same, they change from a light blue to a dreary beautiful gray, occasionally they even turn a vibrant green. The only thing he is sure of is that they are all the same person.
He finds himself looking for them from time to time but not once has he spotted them amongst the hundreds at Dalton. So days turn into months and the dreams are a part of his everyday life, they affect him no more then the bowl of cereal he eats before classes or the songs they sing in Warbler practice.
Blaine eventually notices that the color of the eyes determine his mood, blue and he is as happy and dapper as physically possible, gray means that he will be withdrawn and "dans la lune", as his teachers would say. Green makes him agitated and short tempered. Looking over it now, he thinks they affect him more then he thought they ever could which makes him feel the need to find these mysterious eyes grow even stronger.
Blaine is still engrossed in these thoughts, brow furrowed, when he feels a tap on his shoulder. Preparing himself to deal with one of his lunatic friends he turns slowly and finds himself face to face with the very eyes that have been haunting him for ages. The angelic figure in front of him asks him something and he replies, running on autopilot, all the while thinking about those eyes. They aren't the seemingly boring shades he's been dreaming of, but all three combined to create the single most beautiful thing he's ever seen.
He grabs the boy, Kurt's, hand and together they run down the hall, fingers entwined as though fate brought them together on this day. Blaine sneaks a glance over his shoulder and when hazel meets blue, gray, green he can form only one coherent thought. Oh, there you are, I've been looking for you forever.
