This is my first story! It's not really that good. I don't really write that often. I read. It's a one-shot about the first time Percy and Annabeth met. Reviews are apprceciated! Sorry for typos or anything else that bothers you in this story. The whole story is third-person POV. Enjoy!

Disclaimer: I do not own Percy Jackson. Wish I did but I don't. It all belongs to Rick Riordan.

A chubby little toddler walked onto the playground, holding his mom Sally's hand. He had black hair that was real messy, and sea-green eyes. His name was Percy. From the other side of the playground another toddler walked onto the playground, running in front of her father, Fredrick. She had blond hair, and gray eyes like a storm. Her name was Annabeth.

"Go on, Percy, go play! Be careful!" Sally said.

Percy ran off, squealing, his arms in the air. He ran up the ladder and ran to the slide. At the same time, Annabeth ran to the slide and the two of them bumped into each other. Percy and Annabeth fell on the floor. Both of them got up and looked at each other, as if to say "Who do you think you are? I was going to go on the slide!"

"It's my turn now!" Percy screamed "I got here first!"

"No, its my turn!" Annabeth yelled. "I got here first."

The two parents hearing the commotion, got up and ran over to their kids.

"Percy, its all right, you should take turns. Let the little girl go first." Sally soothed Percy.

Fredrick on the other hand, was furious at his daughter, and was whisper-yelling at his daughter. "You shouldn't yell! It's not nice! What type of daughter are you?!"

"B-But Daddy, I got here first. I didn't do anything. That boy yelled at me first..." She was crying now.

"No. We're going home."

Percy looked at the Annabeth. "What's your name?"

"A-a-annabeth." Annabeth said.

"Annabeth. Annabeth, you can go on the slide first. I will be your friend."

She stared at him with large grey eyes. "Really? You want to be my friend?"

Percy nodded earnestly. "I like you. Even if you were mean to me."

"I wasn't mean." She said, wiping away her tears now. "What's your name?"

"Percy." Percy beamed. "My name is Percy."

Sally looked at Fredrick. "Looks like your daughter and my son want to play together. Why don't you let her stay a little longer?"

Fredrick frowned. "Ohh, okay."

Percy and Annabeth looked at each other and smiled. Then they gripped each others hands and ran off smiling and laughing.

So whaddya think? Again, reviews are appreciated.
