"And then I, like, kissed him." It was another hot summer day in Republic City, not very much different from the other days. Again, they were sitting on one of the banks near the lake. Korra was swinging her flip-flops while continuing to ramble about the events of the previous day to a less enthualistic looking Bolin. Appearantly his ice-cream was more interesting.

"I mean, you should've seen his face. It was so funny!" she giggled, and he wondered what the hell was he doing there. That is, until he saw her grinning face. He inwardly sighed in defeat.

"You know, I think he really doesn't like me." she said after a short moment of silence. She had stopped swinging her feet now, her stoic gaze firmly set on the ground. She would become like this every once in a while. She had major mood-swings, he had concluded, as she would go from a laughing state to a crying state in matter of seconds. It was a trait of hers which he found to be silly, yet grew fond of.

He patted her head.

"You have to give him some space for him to decide whom he likes the most." He died a little inside as the words come out of his mouth. It took all his willpower to not gag. Oh the things he does because of her.

She nodded, and started swinging her flip-flops once again.

There was a moment of silence.

"Say, you don't find it troublesome that I come to you to talk about your brother, right? I mean, now that I think about it..." Her voice became unaudible.

He did get annoyed. Actually, he got mad. He couldn't believe he was sitting there, talking (or rather, listening) about her romance life, giving her advices for her to get together with his brother. But, of course, he wouldn't say. He loved hearing her talk in that girly, comical way. He loved seeing that tiny bit of blush on her mocha colored cheeks as she talked about his brother. It was a sight only he got to see. The annoyance he felt inside didn't matter. He would endure it.

"It's alright."

And so it was.
