Doctors Unite: 50th Anniversary Tribute

Chapter 1: Imprisoned

A young (well, young looking) man was thrown into a plane gray room. He stood, straightening his coat and looking around. He turned to the door behind him and checked his pockets for his sonic screwdriver, but soon realized that it was gone. "Well, seems I'll be here for a bit," he stated to himself.

The man looked around the room, seeing only simple, light gray walls, and a few round tables surrounded with chairs. There were small shaded lights hanging over-hear, and that was it. Nothing on the walls, except for the gray paint. The man sat at one of the tables and put his feet up. Suddenly, as he was about to fall asleep, there was a loud slamming of the door and a yell as another man was thrown into the room.

The younger man watched as the elder one got up. He was wearing plaid pants and a fur coat, from what he could see. With a simple haircut, keeping his straight, black hair just out of his eyes.

"Well, looks like I'm not alone now," the younger man stated to himself as he watched as the older man look for something within his coat pockets.

"Ah, thank goodness, they didn't take it from me," he said, pulling out a recorder and examining it for any damage. "Good, good, no damage," the elder said, and put the instrument back into his coat. He looked over his surroundings, seeing the same things as the other had seen, except for seeing the younger man at one of the tables, with his feet up, waiting for something to be said.

The younger man was also thinking, looking at the older man. 'My gawd, that's what I looked like?' he thought, recognizing the other man. 'Well, it had been my first shot at regeneration.'
