My name is Kevin Gothan. I loved exploration at birth. I loved going outside to find some wolves, or sheep, or cows. I loved finding the lakes to swim in. And most of all, I loved finding Maria. Maria was my older sister. But she ran away unexpectedly. I never understood why, she had a good family. Now, I love finding diamonds.
In my free time, when I'm not battling monsters, or making food, I like to go around and explore. Occasionally, I find a village, or a temple, but nothing really major. The temples are a nice surprise and all, but usually, just rotten flesh. Around my two story-mega-awesome-gigantic house, there's a jungle to the south. To the north, a humongous mountain. To the east, hilly plains with a village. And to the west, a vast ocean.
Today was just like any other boring day; I woke up, found some pigs, and traded with the villagers. Usually they just want emeralds for something stupid, like ten books. I was right. Nothing to buy here. Then, after that, I went to the mines, since my iron pick was wearing out. Like I said, just like any other boring day.
Today started out like any other boring day; I woke up, found some cows, and traded with the villagers. Usually they just want emeralds for something stupid, like eight bread. I was wrong. 20 wheat for a diamond chest plate. No way! I gathered the wheat, and received my chest plate. You know, I haven't gone exploring in a long time. Today I will change that. I got my boat out of my chest, and started sailing. Sailing... Sailing... Sailing...
All night long. Sailing... Sailing... Sailing... Sailing... Sailing... Oh, yeah I forgot. The story. Anyway, it was taking forever. 4 days to be exact. At night I was paranoid. How would I fight monsters? I was really, really scared. I asked myself WWMD? (What would Maria do?) I stopped thinking about that, because it was just making it worse.
Squid coming up in front of my ship wasn't any better. I almost broke my boat because of one at night. I was getting impatient, waiting to find a great discovery. I thought I saw something once or twice, but it wasn't anything. If it weren't for that red haze, I would have still been sailing...
