AN: Just a short(sorry for how short), angsty drabble in Regina's perspective to episode 4x06 so slight spoilers if you haven't seen that episode, but I wrote this because that scene between Regina and Robin killed me. Can my shows stop ripping my heart out, please, and thank you! I swear if John Reese from Person of Interest could ever meet Regina Mills from OUAT they'd be like the best of friends because they both have had gone through some serious hell!

She dashed the few tears that dared to fall down her cheeks as she walked away from Robin. She could feel the heat of his gaze on her back, her heart ached with each step she took to further herself away from him. Regina felt a lump form in her throat, choking her, suffocating her and she swallowed hard at the rising anguish she was feeling. Being good sucked, because you had to do the right thing all the time, and the right thing to do to save Marian was to tell Robin to find a way to forget about loving her. Because she couldn't figure out a magical way to save Marian she let everyone down; she let Robin down, she let Roland down, and in a way she let herself down too.
She tightened her jacket around herself to ward off the cold she felt that in no way came from the weather. She flicked some of her hair behind her ear, lifting her chin a little as she continued to walk the path that lead her away from her one true love, her soul mate Robin Hood.
