"You aren't wearing the bracelet." I sudden familiar voice said from behind me, immediately, I knew that my mood would soon be wrecked. I slowly turned around was taken aback when I saw Klaus staring at me with a quite disappointed look on his face.
"Hello, little vampire." he greeted me in a menacing tone.
"Klaus…" was all I had managed to say.
"I take it you didn't like me gift then?" he asked, smirking a little.
"What? Uh…"
"You aren't wearing it…" he said, voice fading.
"What makes you think I'd wear something that came from YOU!" I asked him in a quite harsh tone.
His face became serious now, "It was a birthday present."
He was beginning to get on my nerves, to be honest, I did think it was a beautiful present, it seemed quite expensive and I appreciate it… but no matter what, it came from HIM… I can't accept it.
"Shouldn't you be babysitting your little sire hybrids?" I asked sarcastically as I turned my back on him and began to walk away. I heard the quick sound of the wind and found myself face to face standing quite close to Klaus, "I'm not done talking to you."
"Really? Well I am!" I replied back to him, angry. I walked around him and was surprised when I felt a large, strong hand whip me around. Klaus looked me straight in the eye and I couldn't help but be mesmerized by his deep green eyes.
"You are going to go attend a party, one that I'm throwing… tonight… and you will wear the gift that I have given you."
I knew what he was doing and I couldn't stop him, all I know was that I was going to go to that party tonight and wear that bracelet he'd given me. A sudden image of Tyler's face appeared in my mind for an unknown reason and I seemed to have a bit of control of my body right now. Angrily, I grabbed Klaus by his shirt and with full force pinned him against a tree.
"I will wear the bracelet tonight at your party… but DON'T YOU DARE COMPELL ME AGAIN!" I threatened. At this moment I realized what I had done and feared that this might be my last moment alive. I felt my face begin to relax and my expression became fearful as I slowly began to loosen my grip on his shirt. Klaus on the other hand seemed to be smiling mysteriously at a thought going through his mind as he looked at me, I'm dead… I knew it… He's going to kill me now.
I felt Klaus grab my shoulder and I could tell that he wasn't using his full strength as he threw me away from him, making my hit my back against a large tree nearby. I fell on the ground hard and groaned in pain, I saw Klaus approaching me in a scary slow pace, so I attempted to get up, but I was still slightly in pain. I dropped back on the ground, but not for long… Klaus hauled me up from the ground and this time, I found myself pinned between a tree and Klaus.
"I could kill you at any second…" he said to me, amusement filled his face.
"So do it! You're eventually gunna kill everyone so might as well get me done and over with!" I yelled at him.
He began to laugh and he let me go, as he backed away slowly, "Not just a few hours ago, I saved your life because you asked me to and now you're challenging me to kill you?"
I had no reply to the point that he had just said, so I just stood there and stared at him.
"I'm not going to kill someone I JUST recently rescued… plus Tyler would hate me… if I killed his pretty little girlfriend. Besides, I've got plans for you… for US." He gave me a smile, one that contained a lot of mystery and meaning… and with that, he was gone. I relaxed a bit and fell back down on the ground, resting my head against the tree I was pinned against earlier. What does that mean? He's got plans for me? What could Klaus possibly mean by saying he's got plans for the both of us?
