Luna sighed.
Watching the Thestrals was her very most favorite thing to do. She cried out in delight as she saw a Nargel float by.
"Well, well, well! What have we here?" Draco Malfoys drawling voice echoed throughout the clearing. His "posse" was laughing in the back round.
"Its Loony!" screeched Pansy Parkinson.
"Hello ferret, nice to see you again." Luna said.
At once, all of the Slytherens whipped out their wands and started shooting curses at her. Luna was ready and blocked every curse with a lazy flick of her wand.
Soon she had disarmed them and they all scattered, crying and screaming.
She was getting bored so she decided to go for a ride.
She called over a Thestral, hopped on.It took off, and together they flew over the lake.
Luna smiled at the giant squid and it waved a tentacle at her.
As they touched down Luna jumped off and moved over to sit on a log.
"Hi Luna!"
Luna turned.
"Hi Harry!" she said.
"Want to go for a walk?" asked Harry.
"Sure" said Luna.
They walked together in silence until Luna saw another Nargel.
"Oh! Isn't it just wonderful?" Luna exclaimed.
"Y-y-yeah" Harry stammered, having not seen anything.
Luna gasped as her feet became tangled in a vine and she tripped, landing flat on her back.
Harry-the ever so graceful one-tripped and landed on top of her.
"Oh!" Luna exclaimed.
Harry had propped himself up and looked her in the eye.
"I never knew your eyes were so beautiful, Luna" he said. Luna laughed quietly.
"What?" he asked.
"You are just saying that. Nobody sees me as beautiful. They just see me as Loony Lovegood, the crazy Ravenclaw who is always in the way." She sighed.
"I'm not nobody." He said shortly.
Luna gasped.
Before she could close her mouth, Harry bent down and kissed her.
Harry pulled back reluctantly to catch his breath.
"Harry?" Luna asked.
"Yes Luna?" Harry said.
"Why did you kiss me?"
"Because…" he trailed off.
"Tell me," she whispered.
"BecauseIthinkImightloveyou" he spoke so fast that she had a hard time understanding.
"Well" Luna half gasped.
"I-I-I'm sorry" was all he could say.
"What if I said I loved you too?"
