The Last Rhyme
I can hear his voice echo
That arrogant voice in my dreams
But this time, it's different
Not laced with revenge, or so it seems
He's calling out to me, only me
The one I used to call 'brother'
And yet, I still miss him so
Oh, how 'revenge' can thoroughly smother
"Naruto, bring him back…"
I heard Sakura's cry from the past
But I failed her, didn't I?
Since that person left at last
But I promised, dattebayo!
That I'd surely bring Sasuke back
Even when he's shrouded in darkness
Even if it's time I've lost track
"Naruto it's too late now, too late…"
He says bluntly before me
His eyes speak of cold regret
A heavy heart he denies to see
Hey, Sasuke, do you ever think
About 'our' team seven, just a little?
The real memories we had
And our bonds that became so brittle
Because I wish you would come back
So I can argue with you one more time
And smile with you like the old days
Just us brothers, for this one last rhyme
