Chapter 1: What am I doing here?!?

Hatori walked in through the front door of Shigure's house which was found unlocked; what could've happened here he thought to himself as he let himself in. He walked about the house and realized that nothing was turned or knocked over; everything was in order. He made his way through the house and out the back door where he found Tohru standing outside hanging the laundry to dry.
"Oh, Hatori I didn't know that you were going to come over today. Did Shigure not tell you that he would be out for at least another half and hour or so? You are more than welcome to stay and wait for him if you wish." Tohru spoke happily.
"I can do that, do you happen to know why Shigure called me over today." Hatori asked in a slightly thicker voice.
"I'm sorry but I couldn't. Let me go make us some tea and we can wait together." She smiled as she left the dinning room.
She has a nice smile almost like Kana's but more free. She loves life just as much too. Man, I am turning into Shigure every minute. He thought to himself. I gotta keep in mind that she is only what sixteen years old. That's illegal. Mentally he kicked himself for such thoughts.
Slowly the time leaked on and the two shared a little about themselves. Most of the talking was done by Tohru though. He sat in silence just listening to her talk about her mother and her friends. Every now and then she would receive a shy smile from him when she said something funny. Tohru took into realization the scar on his left eye (or right eye which ever one it may be, I forgot. Shame on me.), she dismissed it from her thoughts and continued with her story. Time and time again his smile would come more frequently and it made her giddy. Sadly whenever the conversation would turn to him he would change the subject back to her.
The front door slammed and in strolled the dog. His voice streamed throughout the house as he called "Hari, where might you be, if you soiled my little flower I'll have to hit you with a news paper."
Hatori smacked his hand to his face as he answered his active cousin. He walked out from the kitchen and ran smack right into Shigure. "I swear you do that on purpose you draw me out and then you smack into me." Hatori said with much agitation.
"Oh, Hari, why must you think so badly of me? I only wished to see you and invite you for dinner with me, Kyo, Yuki, and the lovely Miss Tohru Honda." The zodiac dog explained.
"You could've just asked over the phone. You know how busy I am during the chilly season. Especially with Akito, you know that I can't just drop everything and leave." Hari Scolded.
"I know but I really wanted you to come and take a load off. You know it's not good to stay with the same sex forever that's how you become gay." Shigure joked.
After a back and forth argument Hari agreed to stay for dinner. Tohru who was on the opposite side of the door was ecstatic about Hari staying for dinner. What should I wear she thought to herself.
