I am Evan. I work for the Texas Rangers with my half brother Percy Jackson. I am at my office when a girl walks in and asked where the captain was. I said, "I'm the captain." "You?" She said with a look like EWWW. "Yes," I said firmly, "Well I came to report that a friend was assaulted last night." "Ok, I'll look into it," I said strapping on my 50 cal.
Two minutes later I knocked on the person's door. BOOM. BOOM. BOOM. I dove for cover as three shotgun blasts went through door and yelled into my radio," This is Evan I need backup!" My brother Percy arrived soon after and said "Ready?" I nodded and we stormed the house shooting a total of 15 times and saved the person narrowly.
After the firefight I took the person to the office. We found out her name was Annabeth. We asked why she was being targeted and she said, "I have no idea". Ok why didn't you come to the police? "Because I was afraid." She said shyly, "Look, I don't hold anything against you" I said kindly, "I'm nothing to be afraid of." I want to help, "Fine I am the daughter of Athena Chase," she said looking at me. "Wow, the most famous architect in the east?" I said and walked out of the room. As I sit at my desk my phone rings" Hello. What? No, I don't own a Camaro"
I sat at my desk with Percy going over options on how we could protect Annabeth.
