A/N can you believe I got this idea from a teacher telling us how many questions were on a test?!

Rated T for torture descriptions (not in depth!) and blood. No cussing! Sorry for OOCness but in a situation like this, of course people act differently!

Yes, it's short, but it's a prologue. Hope you like it!

Disclaimer: I don't own anything familiar.

I swear, it feels like I've been here forever, tied up and with "special" shackles on my wrists, while they ask me what feels like 52 questions, but what probably has only been 10 questions in a few minutes. These interrogations, no matter how long they seem, take very little time. We've fallen into a sort of sickening routine that we've done so many times, it's starting to feel like it's been going on my whole life, my memories of the castle, friends and family almost seeming like a child's dream. They torture me a bit, then ask questions, I refuse to answer, they torture me more, and send me back feeling like I'm on fire. Probably have been once or twice, I wouldn't put it past them, although it could probably be a fever setting in. I wasn't in the best state of health when I got here, and the fact that they don't give me any means of cleaning and dressing my wounds before throwing me back in a dirty, most likely rat-infested cell doesn't help.

I've been pretending I'm actually cold (the fever-caused shivers help). Who knows? Maybe they're stupid enough to not recognize a fever, dunk me in freezing water in hopes of giving me hypothermia or something, while really helping to break my fever.

But hey, if it means keeping my home and family safe, I will deal with this my whole life.

At least they didn't find the paper quill and ink on me (don't know why I had it). I can at least record my story for anyone who may show up to help. By then I might be too exhausted, injured or ill to speak, or maybe have a concussion or possibly be... gone. Hopefully whoever's reading this is Arthur and the knights, partially because it means they've found me, or at least someone has. Partially because they'll want answers right away. Main reason why I put "Deliver to Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table" on front.

Hopefully Lancelot's with you guys, if you're reading this. There's something you (especially Arthur) won't believe without confirmation. He, mum and Gaius are the only alive ones who know.

So... here we go. Whoever's reading this, I hope they won't hate me for anything they didn't know.

A/N Note, this was written as I went along. I wasn't even sure what fandom I'd use when I started, and I thought this would be thoughts from whoever it would end up being during the torture, not a journal. I was also going to do an OC, and I seriously did not plan on it being Merlin. Show or character. ;)

I'm only on season 2 episode 2 (starting last night), so I may not update this for a while. I need to get further in it. The only reason I know about the Knights of the Round Table is because I picked up some stuff from other Fanfictions. So sorry if it's a bit inaccurate.

Really, only reason this is up is 'cause my friend Tainted-Lily liked it and told me to "put it up! Put it up put it up put it up!" when asked. So shout-out to her! ;)

One last thing. Should I even bother continuing? Let me know! Please! :)

Although, even if I get a bunch of no's, I'll probably still continue. I personally like the idea... and so does Tainted-Lily!
