Dancing with the Snowflakes

Lily looked out from one of the many windows in the Great Hall. Her boyfriend, James Potter, and his three other prankster friends were having a snowball fight, like the little immature kiddies that they were. She chuckled and went outside, possibly to join them.

As soon as she stepped out, something cold hit her cheek. It was a snowball. She giggled as someone's big, gloved hands covered her eyes, and blew into her ear.

"James!"

James smirked as he removed his hands from her eyes. "How'd ya know?"

Lily smiled and gave him a peck on the cheek. "I always know," she said sweetly.

"Well, you finally took time off studying! I thought you'd never tear your eyes away from the book!" James pouted, and held both of Lily's hands and twirled her about, as Lily laughed.

Sirius smiled and put a hand to his heart. "Ah, the loveliest couple ever, Kodak moment!" Peter looked at him, a look of bewilderment across his chubby, pink, face. "What's a Kodak?"

Sirius sighed. Peter, apparently, learns nothing from Muggle studies. "Hand me the camera," Sirius said.

Peter scurried about in Sirius' backpack, and pulled out a wizard camera. As Sirius snapped a picture of Lily and James, twirling about in the snow, a few snowflakes dropped.

Sirius sighed, as the photo came out from the camera, from a pitch black image, it faded to the image that Sirius took. "Beautiful picture, don't you think so, Wormtail?"

Peter smiled, as he gazed at the picture. It was beautiful, just as Lily and James were. Sirius took that for a yes.

"Look, James, snowflakes!" Lily squealed. James chuckled; seeing Lily like a five year old would make one chuckle.

"They're perfect, just like you,"

A blush rose to Lily's cheeks, which made her a thousand times prettier, to James. "You're a romantic," she said, as she took his hand in hers and swung their hands back and forth. Suddenly, Lily bent forward for a moment.

"Lily? What are you – AH!" Lily was laughing now; she had just thrown a clump of snow at James' unkempt black hair.

"You hit me, so I have to hit you back," Lily commented, sweetly. James kissed her forehead.

"I love you, you know that?"

Lily brought her lips to James. "I know that," They leant in for another kiss, it was quite a long one, they were only separated, when someone threw a snowball towards them, breaking their kiss.

"Sirius, I'm going to kill you!" James ran towards Sirius, dragging a giggling Lily with him.

Yes, this was definitely the best Christmas ever.

A/N: A sweet, one-shot of Lily and James' Christmas. Please review! I would love absolutely just one review! And if it's fluffy, please let me know, because I don't think this is much of a 'fluffy', but fluffy fics are cute, aren't they?

Merry Christmas or Happy Hanukkah to all my reviewers, or visitors! Have a happy Holiday!

P.S I changed this fic just a teeny weeny bit, you won't be able to spot the difference, but I'm fussy!
