...hey ya'll!!! this is cirshelle20 and this is my first ever story about ash and misty!!! well, hope you like it!!!
The clouds soared in the sky. It looked really great, even greater when I felt the wind rush on my cheeks. I looked down below. Brock and I, plus a little girl, and some boys were riding a hot air balloon.
Ash is fighting a gym leader atop a large flat rock. Three-on-three battle, and Ash chose Pikachu for the first battle. He unfortunately lost. Ash let bulbasaur against the other trainer's exegcutor. Ash won by using sleep powder on the enemy. The last match is starting…
"This battle is offered to the woman who saved my sister and stole my heart!!!" Rudy exclaimed, the current gym trainer Ash's fighting with to get another Orange League gym badge.
"I knew it! I knew big brother liked you from the very start!" Marie, Rudy's younger sister exclaimed.
I blushed. Deep inside I cringed. And I remember Rudy's words.
It would be really nice if you stayed here, Misty. Marie would love it!
Yeah, she's been nagging me about that. But I can't decide. Something inside me… doesn't want to go away from the group. Why? Why? Rudy's a good cook…a great dancer…I'll bet he's really good boyfriend material!
Then why would I rather settle to traveling around with two boys with me? Sure, it'd be nice to go and watch battles of Ash and everything, but then, what about me?? This is great and sincere love I'm facing right before me, and he would love like no other, unlike a heart I covet that I know is too naïve to even understand the word 'love'.
Rudy is slowly winning, and I can tell Ash doesn't know what to do…squirtle vs. starmi and whoa, starmi uses electric attacks??
I can't hold this anymore, I need to… I need to…
"Ash, you idiot! Why don't you fight, you coward! Go on, don't lose hope!!! You know you're the only one who can bring out Squirtle's true power!!!" I shouted. Right then, right when I screamed, I didn't care. I didn't care about the people around me, I didn't care about Marie or Rudy, about how they'll react…I didn't care about their astonished and confused faces, about what they thought of my yell. I just, well, yelled.
"I'm no idiot!!!" Ash yelled back. Before everyone knew it, Squirtle blew out his water gun at the ground and tossed himself into the air. He came back throwing himself to the match again, and defeating starmi with all its might.
"You did well, Ash," Rudy congratulated Ash. I'm grateful Ash won…"As for you, Misty," he turned to me. Before me, he presented a beautiful bouquet of flowers. "I see you've made your decision."
You're a very lucky guy, Ash.
Those were Rudy's last words before we waved and rode the sea. Ash didn't understand it, I bet. He just looked confused when Rudy said that and said, "What do you mean?" Man, he's so naïve! If only he knows…
Inside my mind, the picture of the boy I loved flashed in my mind. His sunny atmosphere, his fierce determination…his love for his favorite pokemon…his power in battle…the boy I love, the boy with black spiky hair and bright eyes…
"Misty!" just the sound of his voice saying my name brings me to my dreamland…the boy I love…
ASH KETCHUM…you will remain in my heart and in my soul, in my mind…you're accomplishments, our adventures…forever will be a treasure to me…
