Ruth Tyler wandered up to the raised platform and breathed in deeply. She looked around the room noticing all the people there from police detectives to friends and family members. They had all came for the same reason, to say goodbye to Sam.

"Sam was a wonderful man, a wonderful son and a wonderful friend. He worked hard trying to keep this side of Manchester safe for all of us. I don't know why he would ever jum…do this. I suppose we have to live in hope and hope that he has gone to a better place. I loved him and I will always love him, no matter what!" Ruth said tearfully. "I can't say any more" She told them all, taking one final glance at her son in that box and walking out of the church with tears streaming down her face.

Ruth sat on a park bench and pulled out a picture of her, Sam and Vic together from her purse, Sam was only about 3 or 4 then. She wondered where he was now, his body was here but where was his mind and soul?

She sat there for a while, watching the world go by. A world without her son, at the time she needed him most!

She had to change it for everyone!
