Forest of Traebon'
Chapter 1
Wearily Kiryii walked into the forests. Her breath completly visible in the blood stopping winter's air. Her hair was coverd in ice and snow, her clothes as well. She had walked a few miles from her cabin to the edge of the the forest. The howling of wolves put her hair on end and her nerves on edge. The bleak light that could fill the woods made entering it ever so much more dreary. She began to pass the main thorny brush entering in to the forest. It scraped her hands, neck and face as she pushed through. Her face stug in pain after she got through, the cold only adding to her suffering.
"Well only one way to get through this, tough it out and hope the wolves don't catch my scent before I can get to the other edge of the woods." She spoke to herself. The woods were even more eary in the inside then just looking at them from the meadow, at the edge of town. They were however, their only way to the lords residence on the outskirts of the forest. Every year one of the lords peasents had the lovely task of bringing him three-tenths of their yearly earnings. The crops and livestock were on an overwhelming low this year so their wasn't much to offer. Kiryii carefully placed her footing, the many pot holes in the ground made the forest floor an obstacle course. One mess up and she could brake or twist her ankle and be stranded in the woods, as live game for the wolves.
The Lords Castle
Cypher's cape billowed behind him, his breath was visible in the freezing castle. He had become use to the cold from many years of living in it. His eyes were black as the void, his hair was an ebony blonde pulled up into a rouge knot. "Ah, sir slayer long time since you have been here no?" the lords servant had the stones to say to him. Cypher glared at him and the servant wimpered and skampered back into the darkness. Cypher's steps echoed through the castle like a cacophony of drums, through the empty castle. He finally reached his destination, the cobweb coverd door with dark wood adorned with silver fixtures. Cypher barely touched the heavy door to open it.
" Cypher, I see so you didn't fail me after all...how excelent!" said a ghostly voice.
