Yup, another poem! I've taken quite a bit to poetry because I can say stuff that would have once taken me several thousand words in 200! Which is a bonus for a lazy cunt like me! :3

So... i don't own anything, except the plot, which is entirely fictional.

Spring.

When we met.

First steps.

Early breath.

So naïve, innocent-

No experience in this strange thing

They liked to call love.

Misplaced kisses

On virgin skin.

Fumbling.

Fresh and new.

Summer.

The days are long.

Beach trails and wedding bells.

A new form of heat.

We build a life together,

Dancing

Beneath the star dusted sky.

Autumn.

The last sparks of daylight fade.

Romance dies,

Falls,

Crumbles.

Patience wears thin.

Reality pushes through.

Yet

The foundations

-Trust-

Still stand strong.

Winter.

You are cold.

I hold your hand.

You shiver.

I kiss you.

Your eyes fade.

Forever.

And as they crack open the icy ground,

Lower you down below

To sleep forever more,

I can't help but remember the spring

And smile.
